The long-selling model "Ref.1675" was manufactured from around 1959 to around 1979.
The mirror dial was changed to a matte dial around 1967.

The matte dial introduced today is commonly known as the "Long E dial," because the
horizontal bar in the middle of the "E" in the ROLEX logo is long.
It is a feature of early matte dials,
and among matte dials, it is a popular dial classified as MK1.

The dial condition is excellent, clean even under a loupe.
An MK1 dial in such beautiful condition is undoubtedly rare!

The luminous material on the hands and indexes has aged beautifully and strongly,
creating an excellent ambiance!

There is a slight correction visible on the luminous material of the GMT hand upon close inspection,
but the color matches that of the index luminous material perfectly, and the overall ambiance is not at all compromised!

This beautifully faded and graduated insert is also wonderful!

The beautiful blue color that has faded into a gradient is attractive, but
the red part has also beautifully lost its color, giving it the vintage taste!

What a wonderful fade.

Although there are scratches on the case and bracelet from use,
the impression when held in hand is exceptionally good!
What stands out is the condition of the middle case.

Look! These sharp, powerful lugs!
For a vintage model,
both the hairline and edge lines are in excellent condition!

GMT-Masters without a bezel with such a sharp case
are extremely hard to find nowadays.

The bracelet is a FF380/7836 folded link bracelet.
The folded link bracelet is also in relatively good condition!

The buckle also perfectly matches the date, being from the 3rd quarter of '72!

Although there are scratches and some stretching, overall it is in good condition.

In fact, this particular piece was successfully bid by our company at thePhillips auction held in Hong Kong in May!
After inspecting it, I wanted to handle it at Commit,
and after an intense bidding war, I somehow managed to win it!
For more details, please watch theHong Kong episode on YouTube/COMMIT TV!

Originally, it had a black service insert, but
we have prepared a Pepsi insert with an exceptional atmosphere!
Of course, we will also include the black insert.

Finally, a wrist shot! It looks great!
This is an excellent example of what a vintage watch should be!
The second-generation GMT-Master Ref.1675 "Long E" from 1970-71.
This is a great piece with an incredibly atmospheric faded insert, a beautiful dial, and a sharp
case condition! It's such a cool and recommended piece that you should definitely see it in person!
Overhaul has been completed at our affiliated workshop!
Customers looking for a vintage GMT-Master/early model with great character,
please consider this one.
