The long-selling Ref. 1675 was manufactured from around 1959 to around 1979.
Around 1967, the mirror dial was changed to a matte dial.

The matte dial introduced here is commonly known as the "Long E dial," with a long horizontal line in the middle of the "E" in the ROLEX logo.

It is a feature of early matte dials and is a popular dial classified as a MK1 dial among matte dials.

The dial condition is excellent, clean even under a loupe.
A MK1 dial maintained in such beautiful condition is undoubtedly rare!

The lume on the hands and indices is beautifully and strongly aged,
giving it an excellent character!

The lume on the hands shows signs of correction, noticeable upon close inspection of the GMT hand,
but the color matches the index lume perfectly, and the overall character is not at all compromised!

This beautifully gradient faded insert also looks great!

The beautiful blue of the gradient fade is appealing,
and the red part is also nicely faded, giving it the distinct charm of a vintage model!

What a wonderful discoloration.

The condition shows some scratches on the case and bracelet from use,
but the impression when held is exceptionally good!

What stands out is the condition of the middle case.

Look at these powerful lugs!

For a vintage model,
both the hairline and edge lines are in excellent condition!

It's hard to find such a sharp case on a no-crown-guard GMT-Master these days.

The bracelet is a folded link bracelet with FF380/7836.
The folded link bracelet is also in relatively good condition!

The buckle is from the 3rd quarter of '72, which perfectly matches the age!

Although there are scratches and some stretching, overall it is in good condition.

This particular piece was actually acquired by our company at a Phillips auction held in Hong Kong in May!

After inspecting it, I wanted to handle it at Commit,
and after an intense bidding war, we finally managed to win it!

For more details, please check out the Hong Kong episode on YouTube/COMMIT TV!

Originally, it had a black service insert,
but we've prepared a Pepsi insert with amazing character!

Of course, the black insert will also be included.

If you're interested, please don't hesitate to contact us!

Finally, a wrist shot! It has such a good look!
This is a superb example that truly embodies vintage!

The 2nd generation GMT-Master Ref.1675 "Long E" from 1970-71.
Its charm lies in its wonderfully faded insert, clean dial, and sharp case condition.
It's an incredibly cool and recommended piece, so please come and see it in person!
Overhaul has been completed at our partner workshop!!
For customers looking for a vintage GMT-Master/early model with great character,
please consider this one.
