"Ref.5513" is a long-selling model with a production period of approximately 27 years.
This model has undergone various minor changes and has a wide range of dial variations.
What we are introducing this time is the matte dial that first appeared around 1967, commonly known as the "maxi dial" that appeared in the late 1970s.
This Maxi MK1 dial (made by Lemrich) is marked with SUB.
Among maxi dials, this is a rare dial with relatively large dots and is highly sought after.
It features a slim crown mark, and in Open6, the horizontal bars of the f and t are aligned.
A notable feature is that the font of "SUBMARINER" is slightly thin.
The dial condition is very good and is kept in good condition.
It's like a cookie.
The index is not enough!!
The luminous material is all tritium. The hands have natural aging.
This really gives off a vintage vibe!
The balance of the luminous finish on the hands and indexes is also great!
The bezel insert is also a nice touch.
The period-correct MK3 bezel is in good condition with only minor scratches.
The condition is overall there are scratches from use,
The case and bracelet are sturdy.
The lugs on the middle case are thick and sturdy.
This is a very impressive piece! I can't get enough of these rugged lug legs!
The clean case sides, which don't have much of a polished feel, also look cool!
The grooveless hard bracelet has a clasp code "VC" which matches the era!
There is some creasing, but the condition is good!
The smoothly rising dome windshield also looks great!!
You have a great look on your face!!
The tritium burn looks great!
Wrist shot!!
This is a truly fascinating vintage Submariner!
