SOLD OUT!!

The El Primero-equipped Daytona/Ref. 16520 was produced in numbers from R to P.
This is a very popular discontinued model that has a retro feel that can't be found in current models!

16520 is 200 Taki, 225 Taki, Porcelain, Step/Floating,
4 lines, inverted 6 dials, Patrizio, brown dial, P number and
There are several popular models with unique personalities that will tickle the fancy of any enthusiast!

The item we have in stock this time is extremely rare,
This is the earliest MK1/200 Taki x Floating.

This model has some wonderful and rare features, so we would like to introduce it to you!!

"200 Taki" MK1 bezel

The tachymeter bezel of the 16520 is usually 400 tachymeters,
The earliest ones were 200 meters.

This is a rare bezel that is indispensable for early models!

"Step-down" MK1 dial

The 5-line logo at the 12 o'clock position
Only “COSMOGRAPH” is laid out one level away.
This dial is also known as a "floating" dial.

Of course, the "6" at the 6 o'clock position on the 12-hour counter is reversed to appear as a "9", making it what is commonly known as an "inverted 6" dial.

What I personally like about the MK1 dial is,
This is a typeface with bold serifs.

Five lines at 12 o'clock and "T SWISS MADE T" at 6 o'clock
The serif font is so cool!!

"Porcelain" Dial

The biggest attraction of this model is the porcelain dial!

The dial has a glossy and transparent enamel look, which is characteristic of the earliest white dials.
This dial has an aura of its own, even among the 16520 models.

In reality, the dial has a strong enamel texture rather than ceramic,
It creates a very beautiful atmosphere.

What do you think? It's beautiful.
I think the photographs do a good job of conveying the transparency of this dial.

The impression I get is that the texture of the porcelain dial also varies slightly from one piece to another.
This particular watch has a very beautiful and transparent dial.

This is a comparison photo with the 16520/4 line (right) in our inventory.
These 4 lines have a matte dial,
The glossy texture of the porcelain dial becomes more apparent.

Here we compare the shiny dials E (left) and N (right) in our stock.

Compared to the beautiful shiny dials of the E9 and N1 (which actually existed),
As expected, the transparency of the porcelain (middle) stood out.

Definitely porcelain.

The dial condition is a scratch at the 3 o'clock position.
There are some other small scratches,
Overall, it is in good condition.

The luminous material is all tritium!
While many of the early models have had their hands replaced with Luminova hands,
This particular watch has the tritium initial needle firmly set.

The tritium luminous material is also in good condition.

The kamaboko case is also a feature of the early models!
The thick kamaboko case gives off a more rugged impression and is very appealing.

The condition is good, there are some scratches from use,
There are no major scratches and the overall condition is good!

Important point!!
The bezel is also in very good condition!

The middle case is also very neat and has no excessive finishing!

Buckle clasp code is "M4"
It is equipped with a single bracelet that matches the era!

The bracelet is slightly wrinkled, but is in good condition.

The combination of solid gold and porcelain models is also rare,
I have the impression that stainless steel porcelain is much less common.

Finally, a wrist shot!!

So cool!!!
This is the highest-end El Primero model!
It gives off a divine aura!

El Primero-equipped Daytona MK1 Porcelain "Ref.16520/R9"
This is an exquisite piece that exudes the aura of a superb model!
There is no warranty, but the item is in good condition.
A model with such perfectly matched parts is definitely rare!!
The real thing has even more atmosphere than in the photo and is incredibly cool!!
El Primero Daytona / Customers looking for a rare specimen,
Please consider it!
