Hello!

Kaneko from Commit Ginza is pleased to introduce a recommended watch!

Today, we have a rare, very early production dial for the Ref. 16520!

ROLEX Daytona Porcelain 200Tachymeter Floating All Tritium

Cal.4030 78360/FF503 Clasp code M6
Accessories: Box, warranty card (USA)
Store price: 16,830,000 yen (tax included)

The El Primero-powered Daytona Ref. 16520 was manufactured from R-serial to P-serial.
It's a highly popular discontinued model with an attractive retro feel that current models can't replicate!

The 16520 has several popular models that appeal to collectors, including 200-tachymeter, 225-tachymeter, porcelain, floating,
4-line, inverted-6 dial, Patrizzi, brown dial, and P-serial!

This particular arrival is an MK1/200-tachymeter x floating,
which is extremely rare among them.

This model has some wonderful rare features, so let me introduce them!

"200 Tachymeter" MK1 Bezel

The tachymeter bezel on the 16520 is usually 400 tachymeter,
but very early models had 200 tachymeter.

It's a rare bezel essential for early models!

"Floating" MK1 Dial

The 5-line logo at 12 o'clock has the word
"COSMOGRAPH" set one line lower.
This dial is also called "floating".

Of course, the "6" on the 12-hour counter at 6 o'clock is
the so-called "inverted 6" dial, where the number appears as "9".

Personally, what I like about the MK1 dial is this bold serif lettering.

The 5-line inscription at 12 o'clock and the "T SWISS MADE T"
with serif font at 6 o'clock are supremely cool!

"Porcelain" Dial

And the greatest charm of this model is the porcelain dial!

This is a lustrous, translucent enamel-like dial found on the very first white dials,
and it emits an extraordinary aura even among 16520s.

Although it's not actually ceramic but rather has a strong enamel texture,
it exudes a truly beautiful ambiance.

What do you think? It's beautiful, isn't it?
Even in photos, the transparency of this dial is fully conveyed.

Another characteristic of the porcelain dial is that the serif letters appear three-dimensional!

These three-dimensional letters create an inexpressibly mystical aura,
so I really hope you can see it in person!

The pink-tinted "DAYTONA" text is also very cool!

The dial has small scratches, slight yellowing, and some peeling at 6 o'clock visible with a loupe,
but overall it remains in beautiful condition.

Honestly, the peeling is a regrettable point, but it certainly doesn't detract from the overall feel.
The price is also kept reasonable.

The luminous material is all tritium!

While many early models have had their hands replaced with Luminova,
this particular piece still has its original tritium hands.

The condition of the tritium lume is also good.

The "Kamaboko" case (rounded, thick case) is also a characteristic of early models!
The thick, robust Kamaboko case is very appealing.

Although there are signs of use,
there are no major scratches, and the overall condition is excellent!

Important point!
The bezel also shows no signs of wear and tear, making for a good impression!

The mid-case is also relatively thick and solid!

The buckle clasp code is "M6"
A single bracelet matching the era is properly equipped!

The bracelet has some slack, but it is in good condition.

This piece comes with a rich set of accessories!

It includes the box (with ref sticker and white circle sticker), warranty card (USA), serial tag, chronometer tag,
Daytona booklet (USA/88), Oyster booklet, and international service warranty card.

It's a great point that this rare model comes with a USA guarantee!
The dial color also perfectly matches the 50!

Speaking of which,
a porcelain dial is also being exhibited at the Phillips/Geneva auction in May.

I had the opportunity to see the actual watch recently, and
it was an excellent, well-preserved piece that seemed unpolished, with its warranty card included.

The estimate is 80,000–160,000 Swiss Francs.

It's expected to fetch a considerable price, but
it will be exciting to see what it goes for!

Finally, a wrist shot! Ah, it's so cool!
It's a masterpiece that never ceases to captivate me!
Please enjoy this highly rare model, coveted by enthusiasts!

El Primero-equipped Daytona MK1 Porcelain "Ref. 16520/R9 serial"
This is a supreme masterpiece imbued with the aura of a transcendent model!
It's a well-balanced piece with a rich set of accessories, highly recommended!
The actual watch is even more impressive and incredibly cool than the photos!
To customers searching for an El Primero Daytona/rare piece,

Please consider it seriously!
