SOLD OUT!!

The El Primero-powered Daytona Ref. 16520 was produced from R-serial to P-serial.
It's a very popular discontinued model with a charming retro feel that current models can't replicate!
The 16520 features several popular and unique models that appeal to enthusiasts:
200 Tachy, 225 Tachy, Porcelain, Floating (or "Step Down"),
4-line, Inverted 6 dial, Patrizzi, Brown dial, and P-serial.

The model that just arrived is particularly rare:
It's an early production MK1 / 200 Tachy x Floating.
This model has some fantastic rare features, so let me introduce them!

"200 Tachy" MK1 Bezel
The tachymeter bezel of the 16520 typically has a 400 tachymeter scale,
but very early models had a 200 tachymeter scale.
This is a rare bezel essential for early models!

"Floating" MK1 Dial
The 5-line logo at 12 o'clock has "COSMOGRAPH" laid out on a separate line below the others.
This dial is also known as "Floating".

Of course, the "6" on the 12-hour sub-dial at 6 o'clock is an "inverted 6" dial,
where the number appears inverted like a "9".
Personally, what I love about the MK1 dial is the bold serif lettering.
The 5-line text at 12 o'clock and the serif font of "T SWISS MADE T" at 6 o'clock
are incredibly cool!

"Porcelain" Dial
And the greatest appeal of this model is its Porcelain dial!
This is a glossy, translucent, enamel-like dial found on very early white dials,
and it emits a special aura among all 16520 dials.
While not actually porcelain, the dial has a strong enamel texture,
creating a truly beautiful atmosphere.

What do you think? It's beautiful, isn't it?
I believe the transparency of this dial is fully conveyed even in photos.
Another characteristic of the Porcelain dial is how the serif lettering appears three-dimensional!
This three-dimensional lettering creates an ineffably mystical aura,
so please do pick it up and see it for yourself!

The pink-tinged "DAYTONA" text is also incredibly cool!
The dial has minor scratches, slight yellowing, and some peeling at the 6 o'clock position visible under a loupe,
but overall, it remains in beautiful condition.
Frankly, the peeling is a bit of a shame, but it certainly doesn't detract from the overall ambiance.
The price has also been kept down.

The luminous material is all Tritium!
While many early models have had their hands replaced with Luminova,
this particular piece retains its original Tritium hands.
The Tritium luminous material is also in good condition.

The "Kamaboko" case is also a characteristic of early models!
The thick, rugged "Kamaboko" case is truly captivating.

While there are signs of use,
there are no major scratches, and theoverall condition is excellent!

Important point!
The bezel also has no signs of wear, which gives it a good impression!

The middle case is also relatively thick and sturdy!

The buckle clasp code is "M6"
The correct single bracelet for its era is properly fitted!

The bracelet shows some stretch but is in good condition.

This piece comes with a comprehensive set of accessories!
It includes the box (with ref sticker and white circle sticker), warranty card (USA), serial tag, chronometer tag,
Daytona booklet (USA/88), Oyster booklet, and international service warranty card.

It's great to have a US warranty with this rare model!
The dial color also perfectly matches 50!

Speaking of which,
a porcelain dial was also exhibited at the Phillips Geneva Auction in May.
I had the opportunity to see the actual watch the other day,
and it was an excellent, well-preserved piece with a warranty, suggesting it was unpolished.
The estimate was 80,000–160,000 Swiss francs.
It's expected to fetch a considerable price,
so I'm looking forward to seeing how much it sells for!

Finally, a wrist shot!Ah, so cool!
It's a masterpiece that always captivates me!
Please enjoy this highly rare model, coveted by enthusiasts!
