The first Rolex Sea-Dweller model, "Ref. 1665", has arrived!
Speaking of Sea-Dweller, it is a model equipped with a special mechanism called a "helium gas escape bubble" that automatically releases helium gas during saturation diving.
The early model of "Ref.1665" is famous for its "Red Seed" model, which has "SEA-DWELLER" and "SUBMARINER 2000" printed in red.
The model we are introducing today is known as the "Great White", a model manufactured from around 1977 to around 1983, which had the logo changed to a white logo.
Compared to Red Seed, Great White is still available at a more reasonable price, so I recommend it.
The Great White dial is classified from MK0 to MK4.
The latest item in stock is the MK2 dial, which can be found on models made around 1978-1979.
If you look closely at the chronometer notation,
"SUPERLATIVE CHRONOMETER" on the top and "OFFICIALLY CERTIFIED" on the bottom
This is a rare dial known as a "center split" or "rail dial," which means that the spaces between the letters are aligned top and bottom.
The Ref. 1665/Great White is already hard to come by, and even with that, it is rare to come across a rail dial.
The dial condition is also very good.
It is maintained in excellent condition.
The index luminous material has changed evenly to cream and is in very good condition.
The condition of the luminous hands is also good.
The very natural aging process is also a nice touch.
The bezel is an age-matched MK3.
This is a very atmospheric insert with a beautiful grey fade!
So cool!
The case and bracelet of this watch are in good condition.
There are small scratches due to use,
It's in very good condition for a vintage model!
The middle case is thick and sturdy without being overly finished.
As you can see, the edges of the rug feet are also standing upright!
The hairline is also in good condition, which makes a great impression.
The "Ref.1665" has a thick bezel and a case that just won't hold up!!
I love this side view because it gives off a unique feel that only a vintage model can have.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a rugged and cool model!!

This plump dome windshield is also lovely.
Buckle clasp code is "VB"
The bracelet is of a certain age and has slight wear,
It's in good condition and is quite sturdy!
The extensive accessories are also attractive!
Box (Refseal), warranty card, chronometer tag,
Submariner booklet, Oyster booklet, calendar (78-79)
We have the following items.
The rare seahorse box comes with a 1665 reflector seal.
Above all, it's rare to have a warranty card (punched) included!!
And finally, a wrist shot! He looks great!
This is a really cool piece with a beautiful rail dial and grey fade insert!
