The first model of the Rolex Sea-Dweller, Ref.1665, has arrived!
The Sea-Dweller is known for its special "helium gas escape valve" mechanism that automatically expels helium gas during saturation diving.

While the "Ref.1665" is famous for its early models with "SEA-DWELLER" and "SUBMARINER 2000" printed in red, commonly known as "Red Sea-Dweller", today we introduce the model produced from around 1977 to 1983 with a white logo, commonly known as the "Great White".
Compared to the Red Sea-Dweller, the Great White is recommended because it can still be purchased at a more affordable price range.

Great White dials are categorized from MK0 to MK4, and the one that has arrived this time is an MK2 dial, seen in pieces from around 1978 to 1979.
If you look closely at the chronometer notation, you'll notice that the spacing between "SUPERLATIVE CHRONOMETER" on the upper line and "OFFICIALLY CERTIFIED" on the lower line is aligned vertically, which is a rare dial called a "Center Split" or "Rail Dial."

Even among the already rare Ref.1665/Great White models, a rail dial is hard to come by.
The dial condition is also excellent, maintaining a wonderful state.
The luminous material on the indexes has evenly changed to a cream color, making for a very beautiful condition.

The condition of the luminous material on the hands is also good.
The natural aging adds a nice touch.

The bezel is an MK3 from the correct era.
It's a very atmospheric insert with a beautiful gray fade!
So cool~.

The case and bracelet condition of this piece are also excellent!
Although there are minor scratches from use,
it's in very good condition for a vintage model!

The middle case is thick and solid, without excessive polishing.

As you can see, the edges of the lugs are still sharp!

The hairline finish is also in beautiful condition, which makes a good impression.

The thick bezel and case of the "Ref.1665" are irresistible!!
I love this side view of vintage models; it has a unique character.
This model is highly recommended for those who want a rugged and cool watch!

This plump dome crystal is also lovely.

The buckle clasp code is "VB".

The bracelet, which matches the era, has slight stretch but is in good condition and quite solid!

The comprehensive accessories are also attractive!
It comes with a box (with reference sticker), warranty card, chronometer tag,
Submariner booklet, Oyster booklet, and calendar (78-79).

The rare Seahorse BOX comes with a 1665 reference sticker.

Above all, the included warranty card (punched) is rare!!

Finally, a wrist shot!! It looks great~.
The beautiful rail dial and gray-faded insert combine to make this a truly cool and exquisite piece!

This first-generation Sea-Dweller Rail Dial "Ref.1665/MK2" is a rare piece that ticks all three boxes: excellent overall condition, matching parts, and complete accessories.
Such collector's items are rarely encountered!
For customers looking for a vintage Sea-Dweller with these conditions,
please consider it!
