The first solid Submariner, Ref. 1680/8, has arrived, so we'd like to introduce it to you right away!

The Ref.1680/8 is a rare model that is hard to find these days,
The dial color of the product that arrived this time has changed from blue to brown.
Rare! Tropical dial.

What do you think?

There are still opportunities to see them at overseas auctions, etc.
It is rare to come across a dial that is so beautifully and evenly tanned.

As you can see, even when viewed up close, the changes are quite beautiful.
This is now orange.

The burnt dial with applied crown logo and gold lettering makes this a really cool dial.

This model also features an index!

"Barnacles"

The spire-shaped upright indexes found on GMT Masters and Submariners manufactured from the 1960s through to the 1980s.
It is commonly called the "barnacle dial" because it looks like a barnacle on a shell.

It is also called a "nipple dial" overseas.

The barnacle indexes sparkle when light hits them, making them very tasteful and attractive.

The dial condition is excellent,
There are no noticeable scratches or deterioration and it is in excellent condition.

The Lumis Point has been corrected for luminous effects,
The hands and index luminous material is tritium and has a beautiful cream color.

The condition is good, there are scratches on the case and bracelet,
The atmosphere hasn't been compromised at all.

The middle case, bracelet, and buckle have a slightly polished look.

There are some repair marks on the bracelet and buckle.
The buckle is not locked securely.

The bracelet has some wear appropriate for its age.

Since this is a vintage model, there are some negative points overall,
There are no particular problems with using it.

Above all, the dial of this watch is in excellent condition.
She has a very attractive look.

Wrist shot!! So cool.
Enjoy the beautiful tropical changes that you rarely see!
