Rolex Daytona Black Letters Small Red
Ref.6263 Serial.37 (manufactured around 1974)
Cal.727 78350/FF571 Clasp Code P5
Accessories: Box, OH details
SOLD OUT!!
The third generation hand-wound Daytona "Ref. 6263" manufactured from around 1969 to around 1988
This is the final model of the hand-wound Daytona, and is equipped with the caliber "Cal. 727" that vibrates at 21,600 vibrations per hour. The pushers are screw-locked, making this model highly waterproof. The serial number of the watch we are introducing this time dates it to 1974, but the bezel, dial, hands, pushers, and bracelet have all been replaced in later years, making it a vintage Daytona in good condition.
The dial is a small red service dial. It's interesting because there are different sizes of logos called small. I have confirmed three types so far, and this is the smallest small red with the Daytona logo.
The small red is also available in two types, tritium and luminova, but this one is only Swiss labeled luminova luminous.
Therefore, the luminous material shines brightly, making this a highly visible vintage Daytona !! It's fresh in a way, and very practical!
Although it is a replacement dial, there is no loss of index luminous material and the dial condition is excellent.
The plastic bezel, a feature of the Ref. 6263, is also a service specification. There are some scratches from use, but the condition is good.
The condition of the case and bracelet are good and there are some scratches due to use, but the impression when you hold it in your hand is very good.
The original middle case is slightly polished but still sturdy.
Although it will be replaced, the bracelet is in excellent condition with no signs of wear!
Accessories include an American box and manufacturer's repair invoice (96.03).
Wrist shot!! The black dial gives a crisp impression! It's so cool! Please use it as much as you can!!
This is a manual-wound Oyster Daytona with a plastic bezel, Ref. 6263. Although some parts have been replaced, it is still practical and in good overall condition! The price of the Small Red is considerably lower, so it is recommended for those looking for a manual-wound Daytona.
