The "Ref.1016" is the 3rd generation Explorer, manufactured from around 1959 to 1989. It is a vintage Explorer that underwent various specification changes throughout its long production period. This vintage model is popular for its superb dial design and exquisite 36mm size.
The item that just arrived was manufactured around 1974. It features a period-correct dial with a sharp logo.
With strong "pumpkin" patina on the hands and indices, this piece has a wonderful atmosphere that truly defines "vintage"!
The condition of the luminous material on the hands is also exceptionally well-preserved. Even when viewed through a loupe, the dial is in very clean condition.
The sharp contrast between the matte black dial and the patinaed indices is quite cool.
The luminous material on the indices is also clean, with no visible staining.

Now then! While this piece has some minor signs of use, it is a recommended watch with excellent overall condition!! As you can see, the middle case is thick and solid!! The lugs, which have not been overly polished, are also in good condition.

The buckle clasp code is "VB".

There is only minimal stretch to the bracelet!!
