Hello!
Kaneko from Commit Ginza will introduce some recommended watches!
Today we have a Submariner with a rare feature: the "Ref. 5513"!!
Rolex Submariner Singer MK1 All Tritium
Ref.5513 Serial.26 series (manufactured around 1971)
Cal.1520 93150/FF580,593 Clasp code L6 Back cover 70.4
Accessories: Main unit only
Retail price: 1,694,000 yen (tax included)
"Ref.5513" is a long-selling model with a production period of approximately 27 years.
Various minor changes were made,
This model has a wide variety of dial variations.
The model we are introducing this time is a relatively early model among those with borderless matte dials.
It also has a slightly unusual dial and other unusual features.
This is truly a rare specimen, so if you like it, please take a look!
The dial is a Singer MK1 dial with period-appropriate lower sub-notation.
The hands and dial are all tritium.
The balance of the luminous finish on the hands and indexes is also great!
The second hand is luminous due to its age, but it doesn't really detract from the atmosphere.
The dial has some unnoticeable aging, but is in good condition.
Now let's take a look at some interesting features!!
Yes! Pay attention to the logo!
If you look closely, can you see that the typefaces are duplicated?
There it is! It's a rare doubling dial.
Our staff member Furukoji also owns a doubled Ref . 168000.
They have similar characteristics.
As you can see, the Submariner logo at the 6 o'clock position is also clearly duplicated.
Although it is extremely rare to encounter an individual with these characteristics,
I think this is the first time I've seen this with a Ref.5513.
The fat font MK3 bezel also looks good.
I discovered another unusual point!
Pay attention to the stainless steel bezel!!
yes!
Surprisingly, there is no notch at around the 53 minute mark on the bezel.
What is this bezel?
Maybe Rolex forgot to add the notches?
Now nobody knows the truth,
One thing I can say is that this is an extremely rare spot!!
The condition is good with scratches on the case and bracelet appropriate for the age.
The edges of the middle case are rounded,
It is thick and sturdy.
The bracelet is wrinkled and has some loose parts,
There is no problem with using it.
*The pin on the buckle fastener has been repaired.
Wrist shot!!
You have a great look on your face!!
If you look closely, you'll notice that this Submariner has some rare features that will make you feel attached to it!
