The third generation hand-wound Daytona "Ref. 6263" manufactured from around 1969 to around 1988
This product is serial number 30 and was manufactured around 1972.
The third generation hand-wound Daytona had a long production period and has a wide variety of dials.
The particular watch we are introducing this time has a blank dial with no Daytona notation above the 12-hour counter.
Big Red is cool too,
The unmarked dial is also a very popular early dial.
Furthermore, this particular one has a dial with no markings.
This is the earliest dial, “MK1”, which does not have the “σ” designation.
The MK1 dial is one of the few Ref. 6263/5s available.
This is a very rare dial.
This particular watch is attractive with the dial in excellent condition!
The silver dial is in very good condition even when viewed with a magnifying glass.
It's rare to come across such a beautiful dial.
Although the index luminous material is missing at the 2 o'clock position,
The rest of the watch is in good condition. The hands are later tritium hands.
Furthermore, if you look closely at the inner dial of this particular unit, you will see that it has a tropical look.
It's not a bold discoloration,
I like how it subtly exudes the flavor of this era!!
The hands of the subdials are also the original thick hands.
The bezel is an inverted Z “MK2” bezel.
Although the years vary slightly, it is a rare bezel that is traded at a high price even on its own.
The plastic bezel, which is prone to cracks and peeling, is in excellent condition.
You have a good look.
The pusher is a replacement pusher "MK3" with a grooved cylinder.
The condition is overall small scratches from use,
There are no major scratches and the condition is good.
The middle case has a slightly polished appearance, but is still in fairly good condition.
The bracelet is from a later period, but is in good condition with almost no signs of wear.
Wrist shot!!
The plastic bezel and silver panda dial go perfectly together!
Manual winding Daytona Ref.6263/Silver MK1 dial.
This is a recommended item with a beautiful dial and attractive bezel!!
Although there are some discrepancies in consistency, this is an early specimen that leaves a very good impression.
With the shortage of hand-wound Daytonas, MK1s like this one are rare!
