The third generation Explorer "Ref. 1016" manufactured from around 1960 to around 1989
This is a 1016 from a later model year, manufactured around 1986.
It seems that older models are less likely to have luminous fading, but this model has a strong vintage color with the tritium luminous fading beautifully.

The dial is an MK5 that matches the period.
The dial and luminous condition are excellent!

The MK5 is characterized by its sharp logo, but on this particular model it looks a bit bold.
When I looked closely with a magnifying glass, I noticed that the fonts were duplicated.

We previously introduced the favorite model of our staff member Furukoji, who has one of the most beautiful voices in our store , the "Ref. 168000." I wonder if it's the same type. It's interesting because it's from almost the same era.

Incidentally, the chronometer notation was also duplicated.
It’s a lovely typeface!
The matte black dial is in perfect condition with no scratches or stains.
The luminous material is all tritium. The luminous hands are in excellent condition with no cracks.

The condition of the dial is also attractive, and the case and bracelet are also in top condition with no visible scratches.

Although there is some light polishing, the case remains in its original shape and is in excellent condition.

The hairline and edges are sharp and in great condition!!

It's rare to come across such a hard-working specimen!

As you can see from the case side, it is in mint condition!

The clasp code "I" bracelet is also in a crisp condition with no signs of fraying!!
