The third generation Explorer "Ref. 1016" manufactured from around 1960 to around 1989
This is a 1016 from a later model year, manufactured around 1986.
It seems that older models are less likely to develop luminous marks,
This particular piece has a strong vintage color with beautifully burnt tritium luminous paint.
The dial is an MK5 that matches the period.
The dial and luminous condition are excellent!
The MK5 has a distinctive sharp logo.
This one looks a bit bold.
When I looked closely with a magnifying glass, I noticed that the fonts were duplicated.
