Product Background

The Speedmaster is one of OMEGA's most iconic timepieces, having been a part of all six moon landing projects.
Originally, the Seamaster was equipped with a hand-wound caliber and sold under the name Seamaster Chronograph, but in 1957 it was renamed Speedmaster, a name it has retained to this day.
Released in 1997, the 40th anniversary of the Speedmaster, the 3570.50 was the seventh generation Speedmaster Professional.

Product design

The asymmetrical case, which also serves as a crown guard, is a feature continued from the fourth generation, and the traditional seahorse is engraved on the case back.
