This movement is based on Zenith's El Primero automatic chronograph movement, but has been reduced in frequency from 36,000 vibrations per hour to 28,800 vibrations per hour and has been improved in terms of durability, etc.
Produced from the R series (around 1988) to the P series (around 2000), this was the last chronograph model in which Rolex was equipped with a movement from another manufacturer.
Considering that, it is indeed a very rare model.
The model we are introducing this time is the solid gold model "Ref. 16528" with a champagne dial.
The solid K18YG Daytona is a model that is less common than the stainless steel model.
The buckle is rare! This is an early model with a single buckle.
There are only a few solid gold models available, but it is rare to find an early model with this single buckle.
The early protruding crown buckle is an attractive buckle with an old-fashioned feel.
The atmosphere is outstanding and cool!!
This particular model comes with an attractive early dial (MK4).
Commonly known as the "reverse 6 dial"
The dial in question is one in which the "6" on the 12-hour counter at the 6 o'clock position is an upside-down "9" - this is a dial produced up to the S series (around 1993).
The luminous material is all tritium.
There are some small scratches from use, but the case is in good condition and the overall appearance is good.
*There is a crown watermark on the glass.
The bracelet is very sturdy with very little twisting.
*Frames will be full frames.
Comes with box, warranty card, international service warranty card (stamped April 2016), Daytona booklet (91), Oyster booklet (88), chronometer tag, and bezel cover.
