"Ref.16520," a Daytona equipped with an El Primero movement, manufactured from R serial to P serial.
This time, we have a rare variant called "Patrizzi," characterized by its brown sub-dials!

Compared to a little while ago, the overall market price for El Primero models is clearly on an upward trend.
Recently, I've especially noticed a surge in tritium models.
This is no exception for early models, which are rarely seen, and Patrizzi models, and it seems they are steadily rising below the surface!
This is a rare model with a sharp decrease in availability, so those who are looking for it should definitely check it out!

The name "Patrizzi" comes from the fact that Mr. Osvaldo Patrizzi, the founder of Antiquorum, pointed out that the sub-dials of the Daytona Ref. 16520 manufactured around 1994-1995 would change to a deep brown color, and thus it came to be called the "Patrizzi Dial."

The aging on the sub-dials of the El Primero really suits it. When the sub-dials turn brown, it becomes a completely different watch with a distinct atmosphere.

After all, the discolored Daytona is cool. It has a charm that current models lack!
Patrizzi is good, but recently, cream Daytonas with a darker color have also become extremely rare, making them an attractive target.

Patrizzi's evaluation changes depending on the degree of discoloration!
This particular piece has some slight color unevenness, but it is a Patrizzi dial that has transformed into a very attractive color.

Although it cannot be called Darth Vader, as you can see, the brown color has changed significantly!

For Patrizzi, the dial condition is also an important point!
It seems that many black dials from this era have deterioration around the sub-dials, but this piece has a clean dial with no such deterioration.
A Patrizzi with such a good dial condition is undoubtedly rare!

Daytonas equipped with El Primero movements often feature rare models, but currently, Patrizzi models with a deep color are becoming extremely scarce, just like the early rare models.

The luminous material is all tritium.
The condition of the hands' luminous material is also good.

The case and bracelet are in good overall condition as they have been externally polished by our affiliated workshop.
※ There is a crown etching on the crystal.

Take a look at the condition of the middle case!! It's in solid condition without excessive finishing.

The hairline and edge lines of the lugs are also nice. A Patrizzi with such a sharp case is appealing!

The buckle clasp code is "W3".

The hard bracelet, matching the age, is in good condition with only a slight stretch!

The accessories include the box, warranty card, chronometer tag, green tag (no serial), Daytona booklet (94), Oyster booklet (94), spare links (1 missing), calendar (94-95), and bezel cover!

Wrist shot!! The aging looks great!! The classic W-serial/Patrizzi is truly captivating!!

The rare discolored model "Daytona Ref.16520 W-serial Patrizzi" is a highly recommended Patrizzi with a great dial condition and sub-dials that have beautifully changed to a deep brown color! It will become increasingly difficult to find such pieces with a solid brown coloration in the future! It also comes with all accessories, making it highly recommended! To customers looking for a Ref.16520/Patrizzi, please consider it!
