SOLD OUT!!

The first-generation Explorer II "Ref. 1655" was manufactured from 1971 to around 1983.This is a very popular model with a retro atmosphere unique to vintage models.
Although this model was temporarily seen more often in the market,
recently, its availability seems to be decreasing again.
For pieces with consistent parts, the market price seems to be gradually rising.
This time, we are introducing a piece manufactured around 1980.
The dial is a "MK4 dial" that matches the age.
The lettering is very similar to the MK5 dial,
but the distinguishing feature is the oval "O" in "OYSTER"!
The MK4 dial is surprisingly rare if you try to find it.

The dial condition is exceptionally good,
maintaining a clean state even under a loupe.

The luminous material on the indices is also in excellent condition with no chipping!
The aging of the lume looks great too.
From the MK4 dial, the marking changed to T SWISS<25 T.

The lume is all tritium.
There is a slight peeling of paint on the GMT hand,
but the condition of the luminous material on the hands is good.
The color tone of the luminous material on the indices and hands also matches!

The bezel is MK3, which matches the MK4 dial.
Compared to MK1 and MK2, the top of the number "2" is more rounded, which is a distinctive feature!
This is a rare bezel with a short manufacturing period.
As the bezel is a key component that determines the watch's appearance, its condition is extremely important,
and this particular piece is in superb, crisp condition!

The case and bracelet also show some scratches and minor abrasions from use,
but are in excellent condition that could be called superb!

The mid-case is in the condition you see!
It's a thick, solid, and wonderful case!

The powerful lug feet are thick and substantial!

The edge lines are also in wonderful condition! The fine hairline finish looks good too!

This is it, a sharp, excellent piece!! Irresistible...

The case sides are also in relatively clean condition!

The buckle clasp code is "F"

The single bracelet, which has matching parts, is in good condition
with only a slight stretch!

It has a great look. This wonderful model with its retro atmosphere is irresistible!

This piece also comes with a full set of accessories, highly recommended!!
It comes with an American box, warranty card, serial tag, chronometer tag,
EX booklet, Oyster booklet, and repair details!

Wrist shot!! So cool! A perfect piece for your collection!!
