SOLD OUT!!

The El Primero-equipped Daytona/Ref. 16520 was produced in numbers R to P.
This is a very popular model with an attractive retro feel that cannot be found in current models.
I really feel the momentum of El Primero these days.
This is a popular model in our store, and the market price seems to have risen a bit recently.
16520 is 200 Taki, 225 Taki, Porcelain, Stepped/Floating, 4 Line,
This is a popular model with a variety of unique designs that will appeal to enthusiasts, including the inverted 6-dial, Patrizio, Brown Eye, A number, and P number.

The model we are introducing this time is the earliest Ref. 16520, which has attractive features.
As always, let's start by introducing the unique features of the early model!

MK2 bezel "225 Taki" bezel
Pay attention to the area between the "200" and "300" marks on the scale.
The scale on the MK3 bezel and later only changes to "240",
The MK2 bezel has two markings: "225" and "250".
This is a very rare early bezel commonly known as "225 Taki".

MK2 Dial "4 Lines"
The initial dial has five lines of English text, but "OFFICIALLY CERTIFIED" has been removed and replaced with four lines.
Like the MK1 dial, this is a rare dial that is very rarely available.
Personally, I love the cool letter "E" in the ROLEX logo!

"Inverted 6" dial
The number "6" on the 12-hour counter at 6 o'clock is inverted to look like a "9"
This is an early dial produced up to the S number, known as the "reverse 6" or "inverted 6."
Due to the characteristics up to the S series, the MK1 dial/floating and MK2 dial/4 line will always be "inverted 6".

Single buckle
The single buckle is also an essential feature of this early model.
This individual has a clasp code of "S2", which is a later model.
Since it's a late release, I don't feel it's particularly bad.

Kamaboko case
The kamaboko case is also a feature of the early models!
Can you see that the early models have thick cases?
The kamaboko case gives off a rugged impression, which is very appealing.

Although the condition is good with some small scratches,
Overall it's a solid piece that gives a good impression.

The middle case is in good condition with a good impression and sharp edges.

As you can see, the hairline on the rug feet is in good condition.
The edge lines are perfectly defined!
The crisp bracelet is in top condition with no signs of wear!
There is still a reflector seal on the back cover!

The luminous material is all tritium.
The condition of the luminous hands is also good!
The dial has some small scratches visible through a magnifying glass, but is in good condition.

You have a good look on your face!
It's cool!!

Accessories include box, warranty card (domestic official name not erased), chronometer certificate, chronometer tag, tag (no serial number),
Daytona booklet (89), Oyster booklet (91), Calendar (93-94)
We have the following items.
The included domestic official warranty is a nice feature!
Unusually, this item was sold in 1993 and has been sleeping for quite some time.

The outer box comes with a reflector seal!!

Wrist shot!!
The combination of the instantly recognizable 4-line dial and the subtle 225mm Taki bezel
This is an extremely cool and stylish early El Primero!

The early model "Ref. 16520" with an MK2 bezel and MK2 dial
The early models with such wonderful and rare features are really appealing.
While the availability of normal single tritium watches is also decreasing,
Even if you search, it's hard to find the earliest specimens!
It comes with a wide range of accessories, making it a perfect addition to your collection!
For customers looking for a rare El Primero-equipped Daytona,
Please consider this.
