Hello!
Today we would like to introduce the Commit exhibits.
Unfortunately, this item is not for sale, but it is a unique item that we would like everyone to see, so please do come and have a look!
Rolex Daytona All Tritium
Ref.6263 Serial.4 (manufactured around 1974)
Cal.727
" Not For Sale"
The third generation hand-wound Daytona "Ref. 6263" manufactured from around 1970 to around 1988
This particular example has a blank dial with no Daytona notation above the 12-hour counter.
The big Daytona is cool, but the original dial without any markings is also a very popular early dial.
Another feature of early dials is the "σ" sigma notation at the 6 o'clock position.
*The σ mark indicates that gold or other precious metals are used on the dial.
The bezel has a solid MK1 font. It looks really cool.
The pusher is MK2 without grooves.
The chronograph hand is a regular triangle hand that matches the era.
Although the dial has some loss of luminous material, the overall condition is very good.
The Jubilee bracelet and the hand-wound Daytona go perfectly together! It's wonderful!
This is the 200th blog post ( thank you as always) , so I've put together a large collection of Commit's hand-wound Daytonas!!
Each one is a wonderful piece with its own unique personality.
It is on display in the store! Please come and take a look!
