Submariner "Ref. 5512" manufactured from around 1959 to around 1978
The difference between this and the Submariner "Ref. 5513" produced at the same time is
The Ref. 5513 is a non-chronometer model.
The Ref. 5512 is a model that has been certified as a chronometer.
At first glance, the Submariner No Date/Ref. 5513 appears to be the same model, but the only difference is its appearance.
Since the Ref. 5512 is a chronometer, the markings at the 6 o'clock position on the dial are
“SUPERLATIVE CHRONOMETER OFFICIALLY CERTIFIED”
Its distinctive feature is that it has four lines of writing including the chronometer notation.

This is an early model with a matte dial, where the 200m depth reading comes before 660ft.
