The Ref.5513 is a non-chronometer model.
The Ref. 5512 is a model that has been certified as a chronometer.
At first glance, the difference between this and the Submariner Non-Date/Ref. 5513, which looks like the same model, is
Since the Ref.5512 is a chronometer, the markings at the 6 o'clock position on the dial are
"SUPERLATIVE CHRONOMETER OFFICIALLY CERTIFIED"
Its distinctive feature is the four-line notation including the chronometer notation.
The 5512 has a wide variety of matte dials.

"Meter First "
This is an early model with a matte dial where the 200m depth reading comes before 660ft.
Furthermore, this unit is different from the usual meter first.
This is the earliest matte dial with chronometer markings called "large" which are long horizontally.
The Ref.5512 itself is a rare model that is hard to come by,

Another attractive feature of this dial is that it contains tritium, which reacts to light with light in green , just like the luminous mirror dials !
