Hello! Kaneko from Commit Ginza will introduce some recommended watches! Today we have a rare item! A vintage 1950s Explorer! Rolex Explorer Mirror Dial Ref.6610 Serial.16 (manufactured around 1956) Accessories: Box Cal.1030 Case back 56.2 SOLD OUT!! The second generation Explorer "Ref. 6610" that appeared around 1955 Compared to the third generation Ref. 1016 (especially the higher model years) , This is a 1950s Explorer with a distinctly different feel as a vintage model! The basic design is the same as the first model "Ref. 6350", The movement can only wind the mainspring in one direction when the rotor rotates. The old caliber "Cal. A296", which could not be wound in both directions, has been replaced with the bidirectional winding caliber Cal. 1030. The back cover has also been changed from a thick one to a flat type. The mirror dials of the 1950s were influenced by radium luminous material. A notable feature is that many of these watches have a matte finish that has been aged across the entire dial. This specimen shows signs of aging typical of its age, This is a wonderful piece with the mirror dial still retaining its luster! The gold hands also look great and are very cool!! There are traces of corrections to the luminous hands, but the atmosphere is not affected. Above all, the big dot second hand is firmly equipped The points are high!! You have a good look!! The aged dial still has a glossy finish, which is just amazing!! The condition is age-appropriate with some scratches, There are no major scratches and the condition is good. Unfortunately, flash fit and bracelet are not included. Comes with a stylish NATO belt. Comes with an American box! Wrist shot!! Enjoy the exquisite aging that is unique to the 50's! The real thing is even cooler than in the photo!! Vintage Explorer 2nd Generation "Ref.6610" It's rare to find a 50's Explorer in such excellent condition. Although this is a model for connoisseurs, it is a highly recommended vintage item with a strong presence!! The overhaul has also been completed at our affiliated workshop!
