Daytona 116506 Ice Blue The solid platinum Daytona "Ref. 116506" was released in 2013 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Daytona's birth. Its chestnut brown ceramic bezel is an incredibly cool model. On March 27th, the new Daytona was finally redesigned to commemorate its 60th anniversary. As for the discontinued Ref. 116506, the market price seems to have gone up compared to before the new model was announced.
In particular, the bucket diamond index model has a change in the sub-dial from ice blue to chestnut brown, so it's worth keeping an eye on in the future!!
This time we have the "Ref. 116506" with a pavé diamond dial. The platinum/Daytona itself is a rare model with a limited number of units, but this combination of the chestnut Cerachrom bezel and the pavé diamond x ice blue dial is a truly rare model that is rarely seen in circulation.
It seems that the manufacturer was still able to change the dial up until around summer last year, but now it is no longer possible to do so. As of now, the specifications of the Cerachrom bezel and pave diamonds have not yet been confirmed for the new model. In that case, the rarity value of this model may increase even more.
The edges of the hands and indexes of the paved diamond dial are blue. And, the blue hands are also very attractive. The ice blue of the sub-dials is also wonderful!!
The condition of this particular watch, case and bracelet are excellent, and it is in very good condition overall.
There is no sign of any sagging of the bracelet at all!!
