The first Submariner with date/Ref.1680. This is an early model with a red Submariner logo, manufactured from 1969 to 1975. It is commonly known as the Red Sub . The red sub seems to be less common than it was a while ago, The item being sold this time is a rare model of the Red Sub. "Meter First " This is an early model with a matte dial where the 200m depth reading comes before 660ft. The red sub meter first model produced from 1969 to 1970 was In just one year, it has been classified from MK1 to MK3. This time we will introduce the second dial, "MK2". The MK2 dial is "660ft" "Open 6" Although not as long as the MK1, it features a "long f" with a long upper part.
