This is the second-generation Milgauss "Ref. 1019," produced from the mid-1960s until around 1988.
The design is completely different from the Milgauss Ref. 116400GV, which has finally been discontinued.
It is a super cool, sophisticated model that vintage enthusiasts will surely love!!
The second generation came in black and silver versions,
and the one we have in stock now features a silver dial.
This is an early-type dial,
featuring 0.2-second increment markers and a vertical hairline finish.
The luminous material is also the early type.
The sandwich-type luminous markers at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock give it a strong vintage feel—a very appealing specification.
The luminous material on the indices has been maintained in good overall condition.
If you look closely, the early dial has the chronometer text in a "center-split" format!!
The hour and minute hands are original and feature a distinctive three-dimensional design.
The condition of the luminous material on the hands is also well-maintained,
with an even and beautiful patina.
The dial has some minor, unobtrusive scratches along the edge,
but it is in otherwise very clean condition.
That said, is it just me, or is there a real sense of style to the silver dial with its hairline finish
combined with the orange Milgauss logo and the tip of the second hand↑?
It is so cool.
The movement is the Caliber 1580, made exclusively for the Milgauss and operating at 5.5 beats per second.
It naturally comes equipped with the cross-shaped leaf spring inside the case back and the golden anti-magnetic inner case.
The movement is an M-number.
As for the condition, there are some minor scratches consistent with its age,
but it is in excellent overall shape, leaving a very positive impression when you hold it!
The middle case is thick and has not been over-polished!
The edge lines are sharp and well-defined!!
The folded link bracelet has few signs of wear and is in clean condition.
There is some slight stretching, but it is relatively solid.
Accessories include the box and Milgauss booklet.

This is an incredibly attractive vintage model with a superb dial and case condition.
It is rare to find a 1019 in such good condition these days!
