No. 127 ~ Introducing a customer's masterpiece watch ~ Daytona Ice Blue 06A ~

Today we would like to introduce a customer's personal watch.
One of our regular customers was wearing a lovely Daytona, so we took a photo of him!

Daytona 116506A Ice Blue Bucket Diamond Index
The solid platinum Daytona "Ref. 116506" was released in 2013 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Daytona's birth. Its chestnut brown ceramic bezel makes it an incredibly cool model.
This is the "06A" model with bucket diamond indexes that was released in 2014.

When using bucket diamonds, the color of the in-dial also turns ice blue, so those who are familiar with the dial will instantly go "Wow!" when they see it.
As expected, all the staff were like, "Oh!!" (laughs)

As expected, this model is the pinnacle of the King Daytona line, and is a strong model that was barely affected even during the bear market a few months ago.
Currently, there are still few available on the second-hand market.
This particular item was produced in 2019 and is in excellent condition.

The store owner happened to be wearing the Ref. 116506, so we took a photo of the two of them!
No matter how many times I see it, I think the Platinum Daytona is just too cool!!
As expected, holding two solid platinum Daytonas in one hand felt incredibly heavy.
I was curious so I measured it,

The two weighed 542g each (lol).

They are heavy in terms of weight and price, but the aura these two give off is incredible (lol).

The platinum Daytona "Ref. 116506" has been rumored to be discontinued for several years, and the price has been steadily increasing. If the decision is made, where will the 06A, which is scarce, go? (lol)
