"Ref.5513" is a long-selling model with a production period of approximately 27 years.
This is a popular vintage model that is also recommended as an introductory model for vintage watches.
The one we are introducing this time is a Singer serif dial.
This is a matte borderless dial that is hard to come by.
The serif dial is characterised by 3, 6 and 9 index bars and bumps on all four corners.
Here is a comparison photo of the 5513/Singer dial.
The top is the serif dial and the bottom is the non-serif dial.
The dials are both made by Singer, but if you look closely you can see that there are differences in the typefaces!
It is easy to understand by comparing the strokes in the middle of the "E" in the ROLEX logo.
There is a large jump in non-serif text.
Another feature of the non-serif dial is the long underline of the letter “E” in OYSTER PERPETUAL.
Both have matte dials that come after the meter first.
There is a mixture of them, but it seems that the serif dial ones are overwhelmingly less common.
This particular model has all-tritium hands and dial.
The balance of the luminous glow of the hands and indexes is just right!
The dial condition is excellent,
The index luminous material has also changed to a beautiful cream color.
The bezel has been replaced in later years, but the look has not been affected.
The condition of the case and bracelet is appropriate for its age, but there are some scratches.
There are no major scratches and the condition is good.
The middle case has a slightly polished feel,
It's a relatively sturdy case.
The clasp cord is "VF" and a slightly later grooveless hard bracelet is attached.
The bracelet has some wear appropriate for its age, but is in excellent condition!
