Daytona with El Primero, manufactured from R to P, "Ref. 16520"
The product we are introducing this time has the characteristics of the early model.
It is an all-tritium specimen!
The dial is "MK4"
One of the distinctive features of the MK4 dial is the inverted 6 dial.
Commonly known as the "reverse 6 dial"
At 6 o'clock, the number "6" on the 12-hour counter is inverted to look like a "9".
This is an early dial produced up to the S number, known as the "reverse 6" or "inverted 6" .
It is also called "INVERTED 6" overseas.
The dial is all tritium and the luminous condition is excellent.
It will be in excellent condition.
The buckle is a single buckle.
The single buckle is an essential feature of the “inverted 6” dial!
Personally, I like the inverted 6 dial.
The matte stainless steel single bracelet gives it a more retro feel.
I think it's cool!!
Well then, everyone!!
This particular one has a red velcro seal on the buckle.
Have you noticed?
That's right!!
This item is an extremely rare, unused, dead stock item!
It is an early Daytona manufactured more than 30 years ago.
It is rare to come across an individual still remaining in such a condition.
There are some slight storage scratches,
It's in top condition as it's never been used!
The lug feet are truly non-polished.
It's in fantastic condition!
Of course, the hairline is perfect!
You should definitely check out this impressive mid-size case!!
The bezel is MK4! It is an early deep-hollow type!
The deep bezel that is unique to this era has a great charm to it!
The beautiful edge lines are amazing!!
Clasp code "P"
The same year-matching 78360/single bracelet is also available.
Of course it's in superb crisp condition!!
There is no sign of frame adjustment!
The clasp remains firm!
The best part is this official back cover sticker!!
It remains in perfect condition!!
Accessories include box, warranty claim card, Oyster booklet (95),
Other booklets, tags and calendars (93-94)
We have it all!!
The outer box comes with a reflector sticker and a white circle sticker!
I can't claim it now,
A warranty claim card is included!
Even though there is no warranty, the fact that it comes with a claim card is a plus!

Speaking of deadstock Daytona,
At the Phillips Geneva auction in May
A manual winding Daytona/black lettering Big Red "Ref. 6265/R number" was on display.
The estimate was expected to be between 80,000 and 100,000 Swiss francs,
The final bid was for 226,800 Swiss francs (including fees), exceeding the estimated price.
That's an astonishing price of over 30 million yen in Japanese yen.
Of course, there is the manual winding Daytona,
The winning bid price was far above the used condition of the item.
As expected, NOS condition items are very rare!
That's it!!
El Primero-equipped Daytona Ref.16520 "Inverted 6/Single Tritium"
This is a rare deadstock item that you rarely see!
These early Daytona deadstock items are definitely rare!
