The so-called "Blue Sub", which uses a vibrant blue bezel and dial reminiscent of the sea, is a popular model among the Submariner models that needs no introduction. In particular, the five-digit model "Ref. 16618" offers the full appeal of semi-vintage watches, including a violet dial where the blue dial has turned purple over time, a bezel with a faded color, and a watch with beautifully burned luminous tritium. Some people may think that the visual of 18KYG (yellow gold) and blue is flashy, but when you try it on, it is surprisingly not conspicuous and is perfect for creating a mature manly look. We recommend wearing the "Blue Sub" on your wrist in summer with a T-shirt style.
The person aiming for this Rolex Submariner Ref. 16618 X number is our store staff member , Satoda Takahiko . As many of you may have guessed, when you think of the "blue sub" in our store, it's him. (laughs) He is one of our key staff members, always leading the way as a customer service professional, on YouTube, Instagram, and more. Satoda has many fans thanks to his refreshing appearance and skillful speaking skills, and the X number is also his birth year, so it's a perfect choice.
④ [Cartier] "Pebble Shape Watch" "Ref. WGPB0003"

The Pebble Shape Watch was born in London in 1972. This is the Ref.WGPB0003, which was released in 2022, the 50th anniversary of its birth, with a limited edition of 150 pieces worldwide. This tilted square design is also affectionately known as "Baseball", and it is still fresh in our memory that a London-made Pebble Shape Watch was sold for 403,000 Swiss francs (approximately 48,700,000 yen) at PHILIPPS, one of the world's three major auctions, in 2021. It is said that only six original models were produced. Many vintage Cartier watches, including the Crash, have been sold at high prices at overseas auctions in recent years, and reprint models have been sold out in advance, making them popular. The playful design is a favorite of avid Cartier collectors.
The person eyeing this Cartier Pebble Shape Watch Ref. WGPB0003 is store staff member Xue Meimei . She is a studious person who speaks three languages and has obtained a watch coordinator qualification, but she is also relied upon by the staff for her quick thinking and outstanding memory. She also often brings in snacks so that the staff can chat during their breaks. (Laughs) She also wears a Tank Américaine, so if you're interested in Cartier watches, be sure to talk to her.
⑤ [Rolex][Rolex][Rolex] Explorer I, Ref. 1016

The last one we will introduce is the popular "Explorer I" "Ref. 1016" among vintage Rolexes. This long-selling model was manufactured for about 30 years from 1960 to around 1990, and has been loved by Rolex fans for a long time due to its simple design. There are five types of dials, including mirror dials, and the texture of the "borderless" index, which does not exist in the successor model, is its greatest charm. There is still a strong tendency for fashion industry people and enthusiasts who have owned many luxury watches to choose the "Ref. 1016" as a way to go back to the origins. Both the design and functions are simple, so you will never get tired of it, and it will be useful as a lifetime piece.
The person eyeing this Rolex Explorer I Ref. 1016 is Tsuyoshi Kaneko , an appraiser with deep knowledge of vintage Rolexes. In his long career as an appraiser, he has come into contact with many vintage and semi-vintage models, and is someone the shop owner Abe relies on. Currently, he prefers the Daytona, but the Ref. 1016 may be the reason for its popularity, as it is a model with a charm that has captured Kaneko's heart.
