Tudor is a popular brand that secretly has many loyal fans.
Tudor, where you can buy Rolex-inspired watches, is often thought of as a cheaper, more affordable version of Rolex.
We would like to introduce eight current recommended models from Tudor, which has re-entered the Japanese market and is rapidly growing into a popular brand.

Recommended Model ① Black Bay Fifty-Eight 79030B
New for 2020, the Black Bay Fifty-Eight.
This is a popular model right now thanks to its blue bezel and dial and 39mm case size.
Just like popular models from other brands, blue dials have been incredibly popular lately.
The lineup includes three types: S/S bracelet, soft touch strap (suede-like material), and fabric strap.
I think this is one of the models that is currently hard to buy at official stores.
Domestic suggested retail price: ¥399,300 (Bracelet) / ¥365,200 (Soft Touch/Fabric)

Recommended Model 2: Black Bay Fifty-Eight 79030N
New for 2018, this is a reproduction model inspired by the Ref. 7924 Submariner Big Crown that Tudor released in 1958.
Like the Ref. 7924, it features a big crown without a crown guard, and uses snowflake hands.
The contrast between the black and the gold used for the minute circle and bezel is cool. The 39mm size is also a factor in its popularity.
Domestic suggested retail price: ¥399,300 (bracelet) / ¥365,200 (leather/fabric)
Recommended Model 3: Black Bay GMT 79830RB
This is also a new model for 2018, and is Tudor's first model equipped with an in-house caliber (Cal. MT5652) with a GMT function.
It was released at the same time as the ROLEX GMT-Master II, 126710BLRO, and became a hot topic.
The red and blue bezel is attractive, but the deep navy blue color gives it a different appeal from the GMT-Master.
The case size is a little large at 41mm, but I think the case sides, which resemble the kamaboko case (big block) of the 791** series Chronotime, also add a nice touch.
Domestic suggested retail price: ¥438,900 (bracelet) / ¥404,800 (leather/fabric)
Recommended Model 4: Black Bay Chrono Dark 79360DK
The success of the Japanese national team at the 2019 Rugby World Cup, for which Tudor served as the official timekeeper, is still fresh in our memory, but this model was created in honour of the New Zealand rugby team, the ALL BLACKS, with whom Tudor has had a partnership since 2017.
The first batch will be produced to represent the 1,181 players who have been selected for the All Blacks since 1884, with more to be produced as new players are selected.
The black PVD coated case and bracelet are reminiscent of the All Blacks in their jet black uniforms, making this a very popular model.
This is probably Tudor's most premium model right now.
Domestic suggested retail price: ¥501,600 (bracelet) / ¥467,500 (fabric)
Recommended Model 5: Black Bay Harrods 79230G
This is a new model for 2017, available exclusively at Harrods, a long-established British department store.
Commonly known as the Green Bay, it is a popular model due to its rarity and color scheme similar to the Rolex 16610LV and the current Green Sub 126610LV.
This item can only be purchased at Harrods in the UK, so there probably aren't many available in Japan.
At one time it was a premium price, but now the price has settled down quite a bit.
This is a watch that I would love to see released to the general public with the same 39mm case size as the Fifty-Eight.

Recommended Model ⑥ Black Bay Chrono 79363N
This model uses the "Squid Submariner" hands from the 1970s TUDOR Submariner, has a stainless steel and yellow gold combination and is equipped with a chronograph.
The black dial with gold-colored subdials is impressive, and the panda design is really cool.
As some of you may already know, only the bezel and the first link of the flush fit are made of 18KYG.
They use a combination of 18KYG and gold plating to keep the price and weight down.
Personally, I prefer the Bundstrap (leather strap) version.
Domestic suggested retail price: ¥757,900 (bracelet) / ¥627,000 (fabric/leather)
Recommended Model 7: Black Bay Bronze 79250BA
This is a new model for 2017; Tudor first introduced the Black Bay Bronze at Baselworld in 2016, featuring a bronze case, brown dial and bezel.
Later, a blue dial (exclusive to Bucherer) and a green dial (for the Only Watch auction) were also released, followed by the current model with a slate gray dial.
When you think of bronze cases, Panerai immediately comes to mind, but Tudor's bronze cases are also highly recommended, with their sharp and sophisticated designs.
Another key point is that the bronze has a vintage feel and changes over time, which can be enjoyed.
Domestic suggested retail price ¥449,900 (soft touch/fabric)

Recommended Model 8. Heritage Chrono 70330N (70330B)
This is a reproduction of the popular 1970s models, the 1st model (70330N) and Monte Carlo (70330B).
The dial is available in grey, black (70330N) or blue (70330B), and unlike the original, only the rotating bezel has been brought back to life on the current model.
When I first saw the design of the Monte Carlo, my only impression was that it was eccentric and pop, but the more I looked at it, the more I realized it had a lot of character, and I began to think it was a cute watch in a good way.
Another nice thing about the 70330N is that, like the original chronograph Ref. 7031, the indexes have a design commonly referred to as the "home base."
Personally, I think it would be a more interesting model if there was a choice between a plastic bezel and a stainless steel bezel.
Domestic suggested retail price: ¥490,600 (bracelet) / ¥456,500 (soft touch/fabric)
What did you think.
Prices start from around 300,000 yen, making them a great entry-level model for new members of the workforce, and with many of the designs being inoffensive, they are also ideal for daily use regardless of age.
I'd like to keep an eye on Tudor's developments in the future.
