hello everyone.
It's easy to catch a cold during the change of seasons, and the weather has been bad lately, so how are you all doing? Although the quality of everyday prevention has improved due to the coronavirus, please still take good care of your health.
Well, following on from last time, this time I would like to introduce some reasonably priced models from Patek Philippe , models that were produced for a short period of time and in small numbers, long-selling models that are affordable, and finally, the much talked about models that were announced as new models last year.
Ref.5960/1A-001 Annual Calendar Chronograph S/S
As I have mentioned many times in my columns, this is a model that I can introduce just under 5 million yen. It is a stainless steel model of the annual calendar chronograph "Ref. 5960" that was newly announced in 2014. When it was first released, it was sold at a price equal to or higher than the list price. Recently, there are few units in circulation and the price seems to be gradually increasing. Another point is that it has a stainless steel bracelet, which makes it easy to use.
There are very few stainless steel models at Patek Philippe , and when it comes to stainless steel bracelets that are readily available for purchase, the current models are limited to the Nautilus, Aquanaut, and ladies' models TWENTY-4.
The watches being sold by Commit this time were overhauled by the manufacturer in October 2020, so you can use them with peace of mind. *Patek Philippe watches that are overhauled by the manufacturer come with a two-year repair warranty from the date of issue.
It's packed with great points, including a stainless steel model with a bracelet, an annual calendar and chronograph, and a relatively reasonable price.
Ref.5711J-001 Nautilus Large Size 18KYG
I don't think I need to explain this at this point, but this is the three-hand Nautilus model "Ref. 5711," which is overwhelmingly popular among Patek Philippe watches, with a leather strap and a combination of an 18KYG (yellow gold) case and white dial.
I'm not the only one who thinks the combination of a yellow gold case and a white dial has a pop feel to it, am I? (laughs) The leather strap Nautilus was released in 2007, and to be honest, it wasn't very popular at the time. It was sold in three types: yellow gold case with a white dial, rose gold case with a brown dial, and white gold case with a gray dial, and there were few of them in circulation at the time.
I'm not sure if my tastes have changed or if I just didn't have the eye for it yet, but now I think it's a very cool design, simple yet playful. Incidentally, the price of gold is rising overall, so a solid gold model might be a good idea (lol).
The item being sold by Commit this time has some minor scratches due to use, but the accessories are in good condition, and the alligator belt that is currently attached also shows almost no signs of wear, so we recommend that you continue using it as is.
Ref.5712G-001 Nautilus Petite Complication 18KWG
My personal favorite model is the "Ref. 5712G," a leather strap model with a small complication on the Nautilus. It is a long-selling model that is still in production.
The Ref. 5712 is a complication model made to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the birth of the Nautilus, and is a sports watch with an elegant and complicated mechanism.
The "Ref. 5712G" we are introducing this time has a firm slate gray dial with horizontal embossing, giving it a very elegant impression. The elegant WG (white gold) case creates an adult sports watch.
Although it does have a leather strap, it is priced reasonably and does not command a significant premium compared to the regular domestic sales price.
Ref.5212A-001 Calatrava Weekly Calendar S/S
The uniquely designed Calatrava Weekly Calendar "Ref. 5212A-001" was announced as a new model for 2019. What surprised me the most was that this mechanism was placed in a stainless steel case based on the Patek Philippe Calatrava, rather than a sports model. Speaking of surprising new images, it is similar to the Annual Calendar Chronograph "Ref. 5960" and the Calatrava Pilot Travel Time "Ref. 5524".
The most distinctive feature of this watch is the week display (weekly calendar) below the month display, which is indicated by a pointer on the outer periphery and is not very familiar to Japanese people. I personally could not understand the week display on a watch at all, but it seems to be widely used in business in the United States and Europe. I think that the blackened hands and indexes on the very beautiful opaline silver dial that is unique to [Patek Philippe] are very good at making the time visible.
This "Ref. 5212A-001" is being sold by Commit, and it is in very good condition and comes complete with all accessories. There are very few models with stainless steel cases among [Patek Philippe] , and when it comes to models with leather straps, they are limited to limited edition models.
I don't think there will be that many on the market in the future, and I think it's a different kind of Patek Philippe. This is a watch that I would recommend to anyone who wants to own a Patek Philippe. I don't think I need to explain this again, but the official domestic sales price of Patek Philippe has been revised since October 2020, and the price has increased by about 10%.
