In this article, we will introduce some of the most popular models that you would not normally get to know about! Please enjoy until the end!

*As of July 2024, the models selected were those that have been requested to be restocked within the past three months.

If you are interested in any of the watches, please register your interest in them now.

① Pebble Shape Watch "Ref.WGPB0003"

The Pebble Shape Watch was born in London in 1972.

In 2022, the 50th anniversary of its birth, this "Ref.WGPB0003" was announced with a worldwide limited edition of 150 pieces. This tilted square dial design is also known as "Baseball". By the way, it may be fresh in your memory that in 2021, before this product was announced, the original model "Pebble Shape Watch" produced in the early stages was sold for 403,000 Swiss francs (approximately 48,700,000 yen) at "PHILIPPS", one of the world's three major auctions. This is said to be a phantom model, with only six pieces produced. Both the original model and "Ref.WGPB0003" are almost never available, so the request may be received with the hope that if it is a commitment...

②Tank Cintrée "Ref.WGTA0026"

To celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2021, the "Ref. WGTA0057" was released with a worldwide limited edition of 150 pieces, but it is said to have sold out based on pre-orders alone.

The Tank Cintrée, which was born in 1921, means "curved" in French, and is a model that has a straight form when viewed from the front, but when viewed from the side of the case, it has a curve that fits comfortably on the wrist. The curved railway minute track, Roman indexes unique to Cartier, blue Breguet hands, and sapphire cabochon crown are all encapsulated in the charm of Cartier, so it is likely that this model has received requests from die-hard fans.

3. Tank Louis Cartier "Ref. W1551451"

The "Ref. W1551451" was manufactured between 2006 and 2008 during the later period of CPCP (Collection Privée Cartier Paris), making it a short-lived and rare model.

The Tank Louis Cartier, worn by Louis Cartier himself, is the origin of the Tank series, and its modern details were a pioneer of the Art Deco style. The Ref. W1551451 we are introducing this time features a rectangular case with a tank motif, which is also Cartier's design code, railway minutes, Roman indexes, and a crown with a sapphire cabochon. The movement is equipped with the Piaget hand-wound movement Cal. 9701MC. One of the reasons for the requests we have received is that the see-through back allows you to see the impressive movement, decorated with Cartier's unique "2C logo" pattern.

④ Torch One Push Chrono XL "Ref. W1546551"

In 1912, Louis Cartier created the "Tortue" watch, which was based on the motif of a turtle shell.

"Tortue" means "turtle" in French, and its biggest feature is the unique case lines designed in an era when round watches were the norm. In addition, it uses a one-push chronograph that allows you to start, stop, and reset the chronograph only by operating the crown, and by eliminating the push button, the design emphasizes the curves of the case. By the way, it is still fresh in your memory that "Tortue" was reissued in 2024 as "Privé Tortue Monopusher Chronograph" in 18KYG (yellow gold) and PT (platinum) cases, each limited to 200 pieces worldwide. It is a popular model that has received many requests even now that it has been discontinued.

5. Tank Aguiche "Ref. 2817"

The Tank Aguichet "Ref. 2817" was released in 2005 with a worldwide limited edition of 100 pieces.

The Tank Aguiche, born in 1928, is a model that features no hour or minute hands and a design that looks like a digital watch. It was first released during the Great Depression. Until then, watches with gorgeous decorations were popular, but due to the recession, prices of gold and platinum rose, making it difficult to procure materials. Perhaps this model was born out of the era's demand for simplicity and the desire to overturn previous concepts. The movement is Piaget's Cal. 9752MC, and has a jumping hour function. It is a rare model, has excellent design, and is an attractive model, so we have received many requests.

summary

We have introduced five carefully selected Cartier watches that have been requested by customers to be restocked. We received many requests, so we were only able to introduce a few models, but looking at the list like this, it is clear that CPCP (Collection Privee Cartier Paris) and Privee , high-end lines that revive famous designs from the past, are very popular.

If you own one of these models and are considering selling it, we would be delighted if you would take advantage of our Commit Ginza store sales and purchase service.
