Although he is a fan of watches and wears Breitling as a pilot, it seems that Travolta does not show such attention to detail when wearing them as an actor. It may have just been a mistake by the props person.
That being said, Travolta has had his ups and downs, and has been awarded the Golden Raspberry Award (also known as the Worst Movie Award) multiple times.
