This is purely my personal opinion, but IWC is the second most popular luxury brand watch in movies after Rolex. Continuing from last time, I would like to explore the secret behind its popularity.

The title "RED" stands for " RETIRED , EXTREMELY , DANGEROUS ". The story is about a group of aging, "former" top agents whose lives are threatened even after their retirement because of dangerous information they learned while they were still active. The contrast between their mature, aged appearances and the flashy team action scenes makes this a film that movie fans who love older men will love. In particular, it is worth noting that both John Malkovich , who continues to be obsessed with conspiracy theories and behave in an insane manner, and Helen Mirren , a beautiful sniper in her 60s, seem to enjoy performing action scenes.

It is still available to watch in Japan through streaming services, so some people may have watched the story during the stay-at-home period, comparing it to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Eric Dane, who plays the captain of a destroyer in this film, wears the IWC Big Pilot's Watch Top Gun Miramar (Ref. IW389002) .
