Whether you own a luxury watch or not, you have probably wondered at least once, "Which model is popular?" While everyone has their own motivations, such as "I want a popular classic model!" or "I want a model that no one else has!" , it is difficult to know which models are actually popular unless you get real-time information.
So this time, we will be revealing the top 5 OMEGA models handled by Commit Ginza (hereafter referred to as our store) in the first half of 2025! Please enjoy reading the list while imagining the rankings together with us.
5th place
"Seamaster Diver 300M Co-Axial Master Chronometer 42MM" "Ref.210.30.42.20.03.002"
In fifth place is the Seamaster Diver 300M "Ref. 210.30.42.20.03.002," which was released as a collaboration model to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the birth of the movie "007" in 2022 .
The deep blue used for the bezel and dial is impressive, and this watch is based on the "Ref. 2541.80" worn in "007/GoldenEye". The regular "Seamaster Diver 300M" uses ceramic for the bezel insert, but this model uses aluminum, giving it a new yet vintage feel. In commemoration of the 60th anniversary, the unidirectional rotating bezel has a "60" scale printed at the 12 o'clock position (the regular model has a luminous capsule and a triangular mark), and the see-through glass part of the case back features a silhouette of James Bond and the number "60", making this a very special watch.
4th place
Seamaster 300 Specter "Ref. 233.32.41.21.01.001"
In fourth place is the Seamaster 300 "Ref. 233.32.41.21.01.001," a military watch limited to 7,007 pieces worldwide, which was the first to be worn by James Bond in the "007" film series.
The black ceramic bezel made of liquid metal does not have the military-specific " 12" marking, and the back cover is engraved with a serial number indicating the limited number and the "0 07" logo. The center second hand is equipped with a so-called "lollipop" hand, named for its rounded tip that looks like a candy bar, giving it a somewhat vintage feel. In addition to the high rarity that only a limited edition model can have, the stylish design makes this a watch that goes well with casual styles.
3rd place
"Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional" "Ref.310.30.42.50.04.001"
Coming in third place is the "Ref. 310.30.42.50.04.001," the first Speedmaster stainless steel model to feature a lacquered white dial.
This watch features a bezel with a dot over 90 tachymeter scale, a must-have for Speedmaster enthusiasts, and a five-link bracelet with a clasp that can be easily adjusted for size, making it extremely practical. The movement is equipped with the Cal.3861, which has passed eight very rigorous tests by COSC (Swiss Chronometer Testing Institute) and METAS (Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology), so there's nothing to complain about when it comes to performance. This is a watch we recommend to anyone who wants to experience stylish design and high precision.
2nd place
Speedmaster First Omega in Space "Ref.310.30.40.50.06.001"
Coming in second place is the "Ref. 310.30.40.50.06.001," a reproduction of the second-generation "CK2998" model of the "Speedmaster" released in 1959 with modern elements added .
The design has a classic feel, with a blue-gray dial that reproduces the texture of the CK2998 manufactured in the 1960s by CVD (chemical vapor deposition), alpha hands and indexes that express the texture of aging, and a vintage OMEGA logo. It is also an attractive watch with many details inspired by the original model, such as a sapphire crystal windshield that reproduces the dome shape of the plastic windshield at that time. It is easy to match with both casual and suit styles, and is a recommended model that has maintained a stable popularity and market price in the secondary distribution market.
1st place
"Speedmaster Commemorative Model Co-Axial Master Chronometer Chronograph 42MM" "Ref.310.32.42.50.02.001"
Taking the honorable first place is the limited edition "Speedmaster Commemorative Model Co-Axial Master Chronometer Chronograph 42MM" "Ref. 310.32.42.50.02.001" model released in 2020, which features an illustration of "Snoopy", NASA's mascot.
In 1970 , NASA awarded OMEGA with the Silver Snoopy Award for its great contribution to space exploration and the rescue of Apollo 13. This watch was created to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the award, and features a casual impression with Snoopy on the small second hand at 9 o'clock. The back of the watch features a picture of the moon and earth floating in space, and when the chronograph is activated, the spaceship carrying Snoopy starts moving, creating a playful mechanism. Not only is it an interesting watch, but it also has excellent asset value. It's a watch that we can look forward to seeing in the future.
