Good evening everyone.
This time, I would like to introduce a rare model that I love the most, which has just arrived in store! Moreover, this is the first time we have received this material in our store, so I am very enthusiastic about it! Please stay with us until the end!
"Ref.5004J-012"
"Perpetual Calendar Split Second Chronograph" 18KYG
The "Ref. 5004" was released in the mid-1990s, approximately 10 years after the "Ref. 3970," the third generation of the "Perpetual Calendar Chronograph," and featured an additional "split-second" mechanism.
It was produced until around 2012, when its successor, the Ref. 5204, was announced, but the number of watches in circulation was small given the length of time it was produced, and it seems that it was relatively rarely seen on the market even when it was first released.
And now, our first ever 18KYG (yellow gold) model has arrived in store in a "single shield" condition, so I couldn't help but pick up my pen.
*Please note that the images are not very clear as they were taken through vinyl.
The case diameter is about 37mm (36.7mm), which is a good size for wearing, but the case thickness is about 15mm because it is equipped with a "split second" and, combined with the large crown with a split button, it has more impact than the actual size of the case. I wanted to actually wear it and convey the atmosphere, but this time it is in a completely "single shielded" state, so I apologize if it is difficult to convey...
The combination of an 18KYG (yellow gold) case and a silver dial gives a classic impression, and what's more, the Arabic numerals applied indexes, the in-dial design with circles, and the leaf hands are all arranged in perfect balance, making this a very cool look!
The location of the hallmark varies depending on the year of production, but can you see through the vinyl that there are four on the back of the rug?
The Nouvelle Lemania-based movement "Cal. CHP 27-70 Q" used in this watch is highly functional, with a "split-second" function added to the "perpetual calendar chronograph", but it also has a wonderful design with its three-dimensional structure that makes it look like a work of art.
The warranty date is 2010. As mentioned at the beginning, the single shield is in excellent condition and has not been opened from the plastic packaging it came in when it was shipped new. Also, since it was sold relatively late, the leather pass case that holds the warranty documents is large and luxurious. In addition, it comes with an unopened back cover, adjustment pin, serial tag, and the original sleeve case with a sticker with the movement/serial number attached, and all accessories are complete, making it an ideal and recommended collection piece.
And as for the selling price, I would like to tell you, but as the sale has not yet been confirmed at this point, this is just an introduction for now!
