hello everyone.

I have been working in the watch industry for about 20 years. I have had the opportunity to see many of my favorite Patek Philippe models, and I have been able to handle many popular and rare models. Based on that experience, I started writing about Patek Philippe, and as I was looking around the display case, I noticed that the number of Patek Philippe watches in stock had increased to over 30, which made me very emotional. Although it may sound like I am bragging, we have a wide variety of watches, and I would really like you to come and see them in person in the store. I will serve you wholeheartedly (laughs).

Well, I am thankful to be able to receive some kind of story about Patek Philippe watches every day, and today I would like to introduce to you another rare model , the Annual Calendar Chronograph "Ref. 5961R-010", which has just arrived in stock.

This model has been available once before in a single-sealed case (unopened plastic), but you could only see the watch through the plastic, so I'm very excited about this new release. I hope you all enjoy it to the end.

Annual Calendar Chronograph

Patek Philippe Annual Calendar 4

The "Ref. 5961P-001" was released in 2011. It was a truly premium model, with a platinum case, a beautiful matte blue dial with eight baguette-cut diamond indexes, 36 baguette-cut diamonds on the bezel, and, to top it off, a buckle decorated with 22 baguette-cut diamonds.

When you hear the word "diamond," many people probably imagine something flashy and somewhat vulgar, but the gorgeous yet refined finish is "as you'd expect from Patek Philippe," and I think it's a watch with an enthralling charm.

The retail price at Commit was 10,500,000 yen (excluding tax). At the time, of course. Looking back, I think it was a great deal. It's a rare model, and I haven't had any talks with them since, but it's one I would love to handle again.

I'll go off on a tangent here and talk a little about the Ref. 5960P, which is the basis for the Ref. 5961R-010 we're introducing this time.

This innovative design, which had never been seen before in Patek Philippe, can be traced back to the birth of the revolutionary automatic chronograph movement "Cal. CH28-520," which was released in 2006. It adopted the vertical clutch system that other brands had also released, was equipped with a flyback function, had both the hour and minute counters on the same axis at the 6 o'clock position, and was equipped with an "annual calendar," a practical complex mechanism.

Up until then, Patek Philippe had tended to value classic and traditional designs, so I honestly remember being confused at the time. That's how much of an impact it had.

The subsequent lineage

2009: "Ref.5960R-001" 18KRG (rose gold)

 2010: "Ref.5960P-015" Platinum * Vivid blue dial

 2013: "Ref.5960R-012" 18KRG (rose gold) * same color sub-dial

2013: "Ref.5960P-016" Platinum (Platinum) * Same color sub dial

 2014: End of production

2014: "Ref.5960/1A-001" *Stainless steel version (white dial) was announced as a surprise

 2017: End of production

2017: "Ref.5960/1A-010" *Black dial version

 2018: End of production

In the same year as the "Ref. 5960/1A-010," the "Ref. 5960/01G-001" was released, featuring a vivid blue dial and calfskin strap reminiscent of the pilot watch "Ref. 5524G-001."

I've said this many times before, but I love this model so much... I know I'm being persistent (lol)

We currently have a recommended item in stock with a warranty date of January 2021 (still under the manufacturer's warranty) in excellent condition and price. If you are interested, please come and have a fun discussion.

"Ref.5961R-010"

This introduction has gotten quite long, but now I would like to talk about the "Ref. 5961R-010" that I will be introducing this time.

It was released in 2016. It has an 18KRG (rose gold) x ebony black dial, 8 baguette-cut diamond indexes, a bezel with 36 baguette-cut diamonds, and a buckle set with 22 baguette-cut diamonds, making it a special model just like the "Ref. 5961P-001".

The combination of 18KRG (rose gold) and a black dial is flawless and a really cool combination.

The black and white color scheme and luminous hour and minute hands make this watch extremely easy to read.

Whether you look at it from the left or right angle, the baguette-cut diamond bezel is very striking, and in short, it's cool. You'll never get bored of looking at it.

The skeleton back allows you to enjoy the highly functional movement "Cal. CH 28-520 IRM QA 24H", which is equipped with a chronograph with flyback function and an annual calendar.

Depending on the angle, the folding clasp set with 22 baguette-cut diamonds also makes a big impact. Just looking at the buckle is enough to make you fall in love with it.

The warranty date is 2016. Although it shows some signs of wear, it comes with two replacement alligator straps.

The selling price is 15,950,000 yen (tax included)

The official domestic retail price is 17,127,000 yen (tax included), so it is a rare model and few are sold both domestically and overseas, but we have priced it at a reasonable price. Although it is expensive, we highly recommend this watch to anyone looking for a unique watch that is different from others.

The last wrist shot. I can't get enough of it...
