Good evening everyone.
Today, I would like to introduce the long-awaited first-stock model from my favorite Grand Complication! This is the first time I've seen the actual watch, and the color of the dial is great, and it's just so cool! I'm more excited than ever, so please stay with me until the end! (laughs)
"Ref.5204R-011"
"Perpetual Calendar Split Second Chronograph" 18KRG

The new "Perpetual Calendar Split-Second Chronograph" "Ref. 5204R-011" is a new model for fall 2021 that is the first in the history of the "Ref. 5204" to feature a dial other than black or silver.
The combination of the slate gray sunburst dial, the same color strap, and the warm 18KRG (rose gold) case creates a stylish and noble impression.
*The new model announced for 2016 is the Ref. 5204R-001, with an 18KRG (rose gold) case and silver dial.
Before getting into the main topic, I would like to briefly talk about the "Ref. 5204".
In 2012, the "Ref. 5204P-001" was released with a PT (platinum) case and silver dial, and is equipped with the hand-wound movement "Cal. CHR 29-535 PS Q" equipped with a new horizontal clutch split-second hand chronograph mechanism that was completely developed and manufactured in-house.
The Perpetual Calendar Chronograph is based on the in-house manual winding chronograph featured in the Ref. 5270 (2011), and features a split second hand mechanism.
By the way, we carry many "Ref. 5204" models in our shop, but we have never seen the first model. There are various theories, but it has recently become clear that this model is almost a prototype. That means you will not be able to see it. (laughs)
The "Ref. 5204P-010" is a minor change (commercial model) of the original model, the "Ref. 5204P-001."
The silver dial of the "Ref. 5204" has a luxurious color, good visibility, and impeccable performance, making it highly practical.
The only difference in appearance is that the dial index border and the color of the hour and minute hands have changed from black to silver. It is likely that this was released at the same time as the black dial "Ref. 5204P-011" or a little earlier.
Two years later, in 2014, the "Ref. 5204P-011" was released at Baselworld with a PT (platinum) case and black dial.
By the way, the combination of a PT (platinum) case and a black dial is considered exceptional in the "Grand Complications," especially in models equipped with a "Perpetual Calendar Chronograph," and anyone would agree that it is very cool.
The "Ref. 5204/1R-001" was announced as a new model in 2017, with an 18KRG case and bracelet.
This is the only bracelet model of "Ref. 5204", and although we handled it in our store, it seems that there were few on the market. (※Production will end in 2022.) The combination of the 18KRG (rose gold) case and the black dial is elegant yet exudes a mature sexiness. The slightly glossy ebony black sunburst dial gives it an even more seductive atmosphere.
And the new model announced for 2021 is the one we are introducing today, Ref. 5204R-011.
The combination of the 18KRG (rose gold) case and slate gray dial gives a calm impression, making it a truly mature model. The sophisticated slate gray sunburst dial gives it a fresh, youthful, modern look, completely different from the traditional "classical" impression.
This watch has a 40mm case and a crown with a split button, which makes a big impact. The lugs of the previous "Ref. 5004" seem thicker compared to the case diameter, but the shape of the lugs is the same for both watches. It's more refined and sharp.
The movement that can be seen through the skeleton case back is the "Cal. CH 29-535 PS Q", which was developed and manufactured entirely in-house. Each part is carefully and meticulously finished, allowing you to feel the high level of Patek Philippe's technical expertise.
The warranty date is 2022. All accessories are complete and in untouched condition. The leather pass case that holds the warranty documents is also luxurious, and the additional closed back and setting pin for adjusting the calendar are unused.
The selling price is 32,780,000 yen (tax included)
