Good evening everyone.

This time, we will be introducing a rare double-brand model of the Nautilus Chronograph with Tiffany & Co. This is the first time it has arrived at Commit, and it is a highly anticipated piece, so don't miss it!
Please enjoy until the very end!!
"Nautilus Chronograph TIFFANY & CO."
"Ref.5980/1A-014" SS

The Nautilus Chronograph "Ref. 5980/1A-014" was produced for a short period only from 2010 to around 2014.
This model features a black and anthracite gradient dial, which changes shade depending on the light, creating a watch that exudes both sophistication and luxury. What's more, the watch we're introducing today isn't a standard model, but a rare co-branded model with Tiffany & Co. Even without any explanation, you can probably tell just how rare it is.
Here, we will briefly introduce the lineage of the Nautilus Chronograph.

The Ref. 5980/1A-001 was released in 2006, the 30th anniversary of the Nautilus, as the first model equipped with a chronograph.
This model features a beautiful blue dial that is unique to the Nautilus and a silver-based subdial at the 6 o'clock position, and many people were probably surprised by its dramatic change from the previous simple design.

Then in 2010, the "Ref. 5980/1A-014" made of stainless steel (SS) and the "Ref. 5980R-001" made of 18KRG (rose gold) were released.
Both models retain their sporty look while also showcasing a sophisticated, sophisticated look. The "Ref. 5980R-001" in particular features a leather strap instead of the traditional bracelet, making it a must-have for fans.

Then, in 2012, the "Ref. 5980/1A-019" was released.
Unlike traditional dial designs, the subdials are the same color as the dial, giving it a clean, streamlined look. Incidentally, the three-hand Nautilus model, Ref. 5711/1A-011, also featured a white dial, was released in the same year.

In 2013, the stainless steel and 18KRG combination model "Ref. 5980/1AR-001" and the 18KRG (rose gold) "Ref. 5980/1R-001" were released.
The two-tone model features a vibrant blue sunburst dial, giving it a refined and glamorous look, while the solid gold model features a black gradient dial that can appear gray or brown depending on the light, creating a noble impression.
*In February 2024, it was announced that production of three Nautilus Chronograph models (Ref. 5980R-001, Ref. 5980/1R-001, and Ref. 5980/1AR-001) would be discontinued. As of January 2026, the only current Nautilus Chronograph model is the Ref. 5980/60G-001, which was announced as a new model in 2024 and features an 18KWG (white gold) case with a blue-gray opaline dial and a calfskin strap with a matching blue-gray denim pattern.

Returning to the topic at hand, many people are probably wondering where on the dial the "TIFFANY & CO." logo is placed on the double-brand model, but in this case, it's just a little above the center. Am I the only one who thinks it's exquisitely placed and elegant?

This watch has an impressive case diameter of 40.5mm and a thickness of 12.2mm, but the bracelet fits snugly on the wrist, ensuring an excellent wearing experience. The skeleton case back allows you to admire the beautiful flyback chronograph movement, "Cal. CH 28-520 C," which is comparable in beauty to a work of art.

This watch, sold in 2014, also has "TIFFANY & CO." (the name of the shop that sold it) clearly printed on it. Incidentally, while the presence of the "Tiffany & Co." markings on the dial is a prerequisite for a watch to be rated as a double-brand model, it is also extremely important that the shop name is printed on the warranty card.

The accessories include a warranty, a leather-like pass case, booklets, adjustment pins, and a Tiffany blue paper box that can also store the original outer box unique to W-name watches, making it a must-have for collectors. By the way, the Tiffany blue box is actually surprisingly important. (lol)
There are some small scratches and scuffs from use that are barely noticeable, but the bracelet is not wrinkled and both the case and the watch are in excellent condition.
The selling price is 31,680,000 yen (tax included)
