"Split-Second Chronograph" PT
The "Split-Second Chronograph" "Ref. 5370P-001" was announced at Baselworld in 2015.
At the time, it featured a platinum case with a genuine black enamel dial, white gold applied Breguet applied indexes, and a standalone split chronograph; I still remember the shock I felt when this amazing model was released at the time.
For those who don't know, I would like to provide a brief explanation of the "split-second chronograph."
Watches with this function have two chronograph hands, one above the other, and when you press the start button, the two hands start moving simultaneously. When you press the split button, only one hand stops, and the other hand continues to move.

By stopping only one hand, you can read the intermediate measurement value, and by pressing the split button again, the stopped hand instantly catches up with the moving hand and returns to the overlapping state. Looking at the movement of the hands at this time, some people may think that they will break, but this function, which brings together the best of technology, is a complication that any watch lover would like to have at least once.
When you look at this watch, you can't help but be drawn in by the beauty of the shiny, glossy dial, which is made using a technique called genuine black cloisonné.
By the way, cloisonné is a type of craft that combines metal and glass, and refers to the traditional craft technique and work. A WG (white gold) disk is coated with black cloisonné, melted at a high temperature of 850 degrees, and cooled. The surface is then polished by hand to finish it. Even when viewed with a magnifying glass, there are no bumps or unevenness on the surface, and it can be said to be a completed dial with the luster unique to enamel.
Furthermore, the index features applied Breguet numerals in white gold, which makes it look really cool!
*This particular watch has been in storage for a long time, so there are a few areas on the dial that appear cloudy, but at present there are no problems with its operation and the accuracy of the watch is very good.
The case diameter is 41mm, and it has an impressive appearance with a split button located at the crown, the solid feel that is unique to PT (platinum), and a split mechanism in the movement.
The hand-wound movement "Cal.CHR 29-535 PS", which can be admired through the skeleton back, is designed to improve gear transmission efficiency and reduce friction. It would be great to have a drink while looking at this artistic, three-dimensional movement. (Laughs)
The warranty is dated December 2015. Although there are some small scratches from use, the case and buckle are in good condition with almost no signs of wear and no polishing. All accessories are included, and the watch is in very good condition, with a replacement solid back. It is clear that the previous owner took good care of it.
