Well, today I would like to introduce the Nautilus Ref. 5811/1G-001, which was announced as a new model for the fall of 2022, as it has arrived for the first time in a long time. There have been few units circulating on the market recently, so keep an eye out! Please read to the end!

"Nautilus" 18KWG
The new Nautilus Ref. 5811/1G-001, announced in the fall of 2022, inherits the design of the Nautilus Ref. 5711 with a SS (stainless steel) case and features a blue sunburst dial in a 41mm case made of 18KWG (white gold).
The Nautilus series seemed to have come to an end with the release of the Ref. 5711/1A-018, which was co-branded by Patek Philippe and Tiffany, but it suddenly appeared the following year without any warning, causing great joy among watch enthusiasts.
The case diameter has increased from 40mm in the "Ref.5711" series to 41mm, but the case thickness has been reduced from 8.3mm to 8.2mm, due to a return to the two-piece structure used in the original "Ref.3700", the original Nautilus. However, even though it is a return to the original, the crown has been updated to a screw-down type, and the current technological capabilities of Patek Philippe have been firmly incorporated into the finish.
The blue dials used on many Nautilus models, including the Ref. 5711, tend to have a somewhat classic feel to them. However, when you look at the dial of the Ref. 5811/1G-001, you'll see that it's more vibrant than ever, and the way it looks changes depending on the lighting and viewing angle, making it a very beautiful color.
The weight of the "Ref. 5711/1A" was about 120g, which was relatively light, but by using 18KWG (white gold) as the material, the new model is nearly double the weight at about 210g. It feels a little heavy when you put it on your wrist, but the wearing comfort is not significantly different; rather, it gives a much more luxurious and solid feel when you wear it.
The movement that can be seen from the skeleton back is the "Cal.26-330 SC" that was manufactured after 2019 and was also installed in the "Ref.5711". It has a hacking function (second hand stop) and there are no longer any prohibited times for changing the date. With the hacking function added to the "Nautilus", its practicality has increased, and there are probably many people who want one even more.
The bracelet also has a new function that allows you to easily extend both sides of the base of the buckle by 2 mm. In the previous Nautilus, you couldn't fine-tune the size, so you had to purchase an additional 1.5 link, but this is no longer necessary, which is a nice feature. It may seem like just a link, but when it comes to 18KWG (white gold) links, they cost quite a bit.
The sticker has been removed (some sticker remains on the buckle), and the links have been adjusted, making this an unused item. By the way, the warranty date is 2024, so there are almost 5 years left on the manufacturer's warranty period. ( *The manufacturer's warranty period has been extended from 2 years to 5 years for units sold after May 1, 2024. )
