The Aquanaut Travel Time Ref. 5164R-001 was released in 2016 in 18KRG (rose gold), about five years after the release of the Ref. 5164A-001 with a stainless steel case.
The 40.8mm case and the button at 9 o'clock give it an impressive size, but with a case thickness of just 10.2mm, it is an attractive watch that is exceptionally comfortable to wear.
The combination of a slightly glossy brown embossed dial and a tropical band made of the same color brown composite material gives off an attractive vibe that is sporty yet sophisticated.
The "Ref. 5164R-001" is equipped with a "travel time" function, which is one of the most useful features for those who travel abroad . Here, we would like to briefly review how to use the travel time mechanism.
The travel time mechanism refers to a mechanism that displays the time in two time zones simultaneously. The dial has two hour hands, the normal hour hand shows the time in LOCAL (local area, place of stay) and the skeleton hour hand shows the time in HOME (place of departure, home, workplace, etc.).
▶ Press the up and down buttons at 9 o'clock on the side of the case to change the LOCAL TIME (forward and backward every hour)
▶ The date display at the 12 o'clock position is linked to the local time
The movement "Cal.324 SC FUS", which can be seen from the skeleton back, was first produced when "Ref.5164A-001" was born, and it never gets old no matter how many times you look at it. It's simply beautiful. The buckle is also a new specification, and the tropical band, which is the same color as the dial, is about 17.5 cm long, so I think many people will find it useful.
The warranty date is 2022. It is in excellent condition with only minor scratches and inconspicuous marks that appear to have been caused during storage.

"Aquanaut Chronograph" 18KWG
The Aquanaut Chronograph "Ref. 5968G-010" was released in 2021 with a matte khaki green color and a military-style design.
This watch can be worn casually or even when peeking out from under a jacket for a sophisticated look. It has an impressive 42.2mm case, known as the "jumbo" size, and a thickness of 11.9mm.
The khaki green dial is full of sophisticated sophistication, and the tropical band of the same color gives it a casual impression, but the 18KWG (white gold) case gives it the weighty feel that is unique to Patek Philippe.
The movement "Cal.CH 28-520 C/528" that can be seen from the skeleton back is based on an automatic chronograph movement with a flyback function, and just like the "Aquanaut Travel Time" introduced earlier, it is simply beautiful in this shot.
