Good evening everyone.
The warm sunshine is finally increasing, and we can feel the spring weather. As the season approaches, we will be showing more of our wrists, so I am filled with anticipation, wondering "What kind of watches will everyone be wearing?" and "Maybe I'll find some amazing models!"
Today, I would like to introduce to you a rare and popular model equipped with "that" movement that I have been recommending for many years, which has just arrived in store.
"Ref.5070G-001"
『Chronograph』18KWG
The "Ref. 5070G-001" was manufactured from around 2002 to around 2006 and features an 18KWG (white gold) case and a silver dial that gives it a cool look.
The design is reminiscent of the Lemania-based "Perpetual Calendar Chronograph" "Ref. 5970G-001" that was sold at the same time, and although it is a model that was released more than 20 years ago, it does not feel old at all, and is a fusion of classic and modern, which is truly impressive.
Before getting into the main topic, I would like to briefly explain the "Ref. 5070" series.

It first appeared in 1998. Based on the 1940s aviator watch "Chronograph Split Second," the "Ref. 5070J-001" was born with a 42mm 18KYG (yellow gold) case and black dial.
Every aspect of this watch, including the subdials, tachymeter scale, applied Arabic indexes, hour, minute and chronograph hands, is adorned with gold, giving it a bewitching aura.
The "Ref. 5070J-001" was discontinued around 2002, about four years after its launch, and was replaced by the "Ref. 5070G-001" that we are introducing this time.
The color scheme has changed dramatically, giving the place a new feel.

Next is the "Ref. 5070R-001", which was manufactured from around 2004 to 2008.
The combination of the 18KRG (rose gold) case and the warm grayish silver dial creates a beautiful and subdued finish.
The "Ref. 5070P-001" was released in 2008, marking the 10th anniversary of the birth of the "Ref. 5070" series, and combines a PT (platinum) case with a vivid blue dial, giving it a sophisticated and sophisticated impression.
This model was discontinued the following year, so there were very few on the market at the time, just as there are now. By the way, we have handled it in our store, but it was still very popular, and we received many inquiries and sold out immediately. The "Ref. 5070" series was not a limited edition, but the number of units produced per year was set, and it was considered an exceptional watch even among Patek Philippe.
Now that we've covered the genealogy of the "Ref. 5070" series, let's get back to the main topic.
With its stepped bezel and sturdy, thick lugs, the case design of the "Ref. 5070G-001" is simply beautiful from any angle.
Although there are some scratches and small marks from use, there are no noticeable dents, and the edges of the bezel and case are sharp, making it a very impressive piece.
The case diameter is 42mm, but it doesn't feel that big and is comfortable to wear.
What can be seen through the sapphire skeleton case back is the Lemania-based movement "Cal.27-70 CHR.", which I have been saying and recommending for many years. Each part is finished very carefully, and this artistic movement is mesmerizing no matter how many times I look at it.
The warranty date is March 2006. All accessories are included. This is a very exciting model to look forward to in the future, and it is also suitable for collections.
*The inside of the inner box shows signs of deterioration due to aging.
The selling price is 10,890,000 yen (tax included)

The "Ref. 5070" series is a popular model that many people are looking for, but it is also a model that is very rare on the market, so if you are interested, we recommend that you make a decision as soon as possible!
summary
What did you think.
The "Ref. 5070G-001" introduced this time is the first one we have handled in our store. Furthermore, this is actually only the second watch in the "Ref. 5070" series. (The first was the "Ref. 5070P-001.") This means that the number of watches in circulation on the market is extremely low.
Just like the "Ref.5970" and "Ref.3970," I think that models equipped with Lemania-based movements will become even less common in the future, so taking that into consideration, I think that this model, which I have given my stamp of approval, including its condition, price, and accessories, is a great bargain. If you are interested, please get in touch as soon as possible! (laughs)
see you!
