The case is solid, although it has some scuffs and scratches from use. The bezel is in good condition with no excessive finishing. The rare dial, commonly known as "Cherry" with red "Daytona" lettering, has some luminous material missing at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions, but the sub-dials and black surface are well-preserved. This is a very rare manual-winding Daytona with a Cherry dial, so please consider it if you are looking for one.

This is the second-generation short-lived hand-wound Daytona "Ref. 6262," which was introduced around 1970 and was discontinued after only about a year.

The black dial with the stainless steel bezel and red Daytona lettering creates a nice vintage vibe.
