A Note from the Appraiser

There are some areas that show minor scuffs and inconspicuous scratches from use, but the non-polished case shows little signs of wear and makes a solid, impressive piece.
The standard version has a 5N gold dial, but this special edition has a white gold dial that is used for the PT case.
It is in good condition and has a reasonable selling price, making it a particularly recommended item for anyone looking for an FPJOURNE watch.

Product Background

The constant pursuit of functionality has given birth to the new Octa Calibre 1300.3. François-Paul Journe has produced many timepieces throughout his career as a watchmaker, but he has also been keen to continually improve his creations. The idea behind this new calibre was to offer an automatic winding system optimised for owners who require minimal arm movements in their daily lives.

Model features

The Octa movement's space-saving design has allowed the balance wheel to be enlarged to 10.10 mm. This has resulted in a larger inertial mass, dramatically improving stability. The inertia weight changes the effective radius of the balance wheel, allowing the advance or delay to be adjusted without adjusting the hairspring.

Product design

The standard version has a 5N gold dial, but this special edition has been changed to a white gold dial that is used with the platinum case.
