It was designed by Gerald Genta, who is known as a genius designer and was also responsible for the famous Patek Philippe Nautilus.

The movement is equipped with the "Cal. 4401" with enhanced flyback function, and the 50th anniversary rotor can be viewed from the see-through back. This model was released in 2022, the 50th anniversary of the Royal Oak. It has been brushed up from the conventional model, with chamfered case edges and new link designs that accentuate the bracelet.

The “AP” logo at the 12 o’clock position on the dial has been removed, and the in-dials are all in the same color scheme, resulting in a cleaner design.
