The Royal Oak Chronograph, part of Audemars Piguet's sports collection, was designed by Gerald Genta, a genius designer who also brought to the world the well-known Patek Philippe Nautilus.

The case size of the chronograph model has also been increased from 39mm to 41mm.

The blue dial features a "Grande Tapisserie" pattern that has been redesigned for improved visibility, and is protected by an anti-reflective sapphire crystal glass.
