There are some scratches appropriate for the age, but the edges of the case are solid and make for a good looking piece.
The MK5 dial has slight deterioration with age that can be seen with a magnifying glass, but it remains in good condition.
The period-matching MK3 bezel is slightly faded, giving it a nice vintage feel.
This is a highly recommended watch for anyone looking for a well-matched red Submariner.

*It has been replaced with a dome windshield.
*Since this is a winding bracelet, it will take some time to adjust the links.
