The silver dial, appropriate for its age, remains in excellent condition even when viewed with a magnifying glass, and the luminous indexes are in excellent condition with no missing parts. This is a recommended manual-winding Daytona with well-matched parts and overall good condition, so please consider this if you are looking for one.

Launched in 1963, the Cosmograph Daytona was designed to meet the needs of professional race car drivers. It is the ultimate practical watch for those passionate about driving and speed. 60 years later, it remains unrivaled among sports chronographs and continues to transcend time.

This model was born in the 1960s after the so-called Pre-Daytona "CHRONOGRAPH Ref. 6238." The movement is based on Valjoux's hand-wound chronograph movement "Cal. 72," with some unique improvements by Rolex.

The bezel is stainless steel, and the dial comes in two types: one with the model name printed on it and one without.
