We are pleased to introduce the final G model of the 5-digit Explorer II that has arrived!
Ref. 16570, produced from 1988 to around 2011.
This model is equipped with Cal. 3185, but was quietly changed to Cal. 3186 midway through the Z series.
The GMT-Master II/Ref. 16710 is equipped with Cal. 3186 from the very end of the Z series to the final M series, making it a rare model, but the Explorer II models equipped with Cal. 3186 do not seem to have received much recognition yet, perhaps because they are produced over a 3-4 year period with Z, M, V, G and random series.
Regardless of the reviews, Cal. 3186 uses a blue parachrom hairspring which has better magnetic resistance than Cal. 3185, and has improved functionality, so I think it's worth aiming for Cal. 3186. The item we just received is in very good condition.
There are some small scratches from use, but as you can see the edges are sharp and in good condition. Comes with a box, warranty card (stamped December 2011 in Italy) and EX booklet (old wrestler). This model is equipped with the final G number Cal.3186.
The condition is very good and I highly recommend it.
