The first Daytona "Ref. 6239" with a stainless steel tachymeter bezel, released in 1963
This is an early model called Non-Oyster, characterized by its non-screw-in bump pushers.
This model is in good overall condition.
This is a highly recommended item with a well-matched dial, bezel, and hands!
The 12 o'clock side features a large "DAYTONA" logo.
Among the many dial variations for the Ref. 6239, this dial is commonly seen in serial numbers 15 to 16, matching the age of this particular watch.
The dial of the Ref. 6239 changes from no logo ⇒ small logo ⇒ big logo ⇒ logo at 6 o'clock.
The dial condition is very good for a watch manufactured around 1967, with no loss of luminescence!
The hands are also original to the time.
This level of dial condition was maintained.
The ref. 6239 is definitely rare!!
The chronograph hand is also an original equilateral triangle hand.
The bezel is known as the "300 Taki" bezel, which can measure speeds up to 300 km/h.
This is also a rare early model bezel!!
