Kaneko from Commit Ginza will introduce some recommended watches! Today, we will introduce an old Submariner with a great dial condition.

The second generation Submariner Date/Ref. 16800 , produced from around 1980 to around 1988 .
While inheriting the basic design from the original Submariner Date/Ref. 1680, the crystal has been changed from plastic to sapphire glass, and the model has an anti-reverse bezel and a quick-change date function, making it even more practical. 
The model we are introducing this time is the early model "borderless" model.
The Ref. 16800 is divided into early and late models, with either a "rimless" version having no border on the index or a "rimmed" version having a metal border.
It seems that the transition to the later-style bordered dial began around 1985.
The early model has a matte dial, giving it a more vintage feel! 
This watch is all tritium and has an excellent vintage aura with its exquisitely burnished luminous points, hands, and indexes.
The dial condition is also very good. 
And the case is in good condition with sharp edges!
If you like it, this is probably a very appealing item (lol). 
There are small scratches overall from use, but we do not perform exterior finishing. 
I don't feel any stretch in the breath. 
The grooveless buckle 
The clasp code is "G", so it matches the era! 
The Old Submariner/Ref. 16800 features a matte dial that appears to be charcoal gray and moderately tanned edgeless indexes that match perfectly.
It's all tritium and the case is in good condition, so I highly recommend it!!
The watch has been overhauled at our affiliated workshop, so you can be assured of its interior as well!
