#502 ~ Introducing a Commit Purchase Item!! ~ One owner, unpolished! Early model Nautilus 3800/1A Blue ~

Today we are introducing our purchased items!!

The Nautilus is a classic example of sporty elegance, designed by Gerald Genta and launched in 1976.
This is the 38mm case "Nautilus Ref. 3800/1A" manufactured from around 1982 to 2005.

The Ref.3800 has an exquisite size of 38mm and a very thin case thickness of about 8mm.
It is said to be an extremely comfortable model.

The dial is the most popular "blue dial" with a three-dimensional horizontal embossing.
It's an elegant and beautiful dial no matter how you look at it.
*As far as I know, there are no stainless steel dial variations.
Available in blue (11P diamond also available), white, black (Roman), ivory 11P diamond, slate gray (Arabic), etc.

The early type had a white date on a black background. *The later type had a black date on a white background.

The buckle is an early type plate single clasp.
*Early period: Plate single clasp ⇒ Mid-period: Hollow single clasp ⇒ Late period: Double clasp

The "Ref.3800" itself is becoming less and less available,
The early model with the combination of "black date + early single clasp" is quite rare.

There is no sign of deterioration on the dial, and the tritium luminous material has changed to a beautiful cream color.
It was a wonderful piece that allowed us to appreciate the unique qualities of semi-vintage.

The case condition is one owner, unpolished item.
There are some minor scratches from use,

The edge lines of the bezel, case, and bracelet are in excellent condition.

What's even more surprising is the condition of the breath.
There was absolutely no wrinkling and it was in perfect condition!
Considering it's from the 1980s, it's in amazing condition!

The early Nautilus "Ref. 3800/1A" features a beautiful blue dial with a black date display.
This was an excellent piece in excellent condition that allowed us to enjoy the quality that only an early model can offer.
